My first year of my lease I paid $15 monthly for filters I never received. The 2nd year of the lease I requested the $15 be removed, because the filters should be free, however ever month the $15 fee was still included.
After the 3rd month of paying $15 ($45) and no response I withheld the $45. Unfortunately, everyday I was receiving late fee notices on the $45.00. Micheal Perez, suggested I pay the $45 and he would remove the late fees, but it will take a few days to update.
I checked my account the first few days, but the fees were still there. When I checked again it seems the late fees were removed but had already started accumulating again and was back up to $80. I decided to pay it and request the $80 credit/refund later because those late fee emails started to stress me out.
In addition, I called the 2nd filter company and Tara explained to me that Home River Group never set up an account for me that's why I never received any filters the first year. I relayed this information to Micheal Perez and asked him to contact Tara, but he did not.
I am hoping I can finally resolve this issue. I put in 3 tickets, sent over 20 emails, and left numerous of messages, and I have the receipts. The only response I receive is someone is going to call you tomorrow. I never heard from anyone. I would really appreciate some assistance asap, I think I waited long enough. Thank you!
Desired outcome: I would like my refund of $180 for the product I paid for, but never received as well as the $80 in late fees. $260.00
