The female pharmacy technician named Phillitta, working at the Lawrenceville location in Atlanta, GA, raised her voice at me during a phone call. This occurred because there was a line at the store and they were dealing with a high volume of customers. I found it puzzling why she chose to answer the phone instead of perhaps asking if she could place me on hold, considering the busy situation.
I had deliberately selected this specific location to fill all of my prescriptions, but it turns out that my prescriptions were split between two different locations. On a previous occasion when I visited, I happened to be smoking a cigarette in the drive-thru while collecting my prescription. Phillitta made a playful remark about the health implications of smoking (which, I believe, is not within her purview).
Upon requesting my prescriptions, I was handed only one instead of the expected two. When I inquired about the missing prescription, she curtly responded with a negative answer. Subsequently, she asked for my date of birth and started searching around the store until she eventually located it. Her explanation was that my prescription was not affiliated with CVS, but rather another company.
The situation raises concerns about professionalism. It's problematic to engage in casual banter with customers and then struggle to locate their prescriptions. The overall experience left me with the impression that Phillitta's behavior lacks professionalism.
Desired outcome: I kindly request that you have a conversation with her. It's important to remember that everyone relies on their job.
