Date of Incident: Wednesday, November 25, 2020
I had called in to get a refill on my medication Gabapentin 800MG and was told by a very nice employee that we would get it ready. When I went in to pick up my medication, I was then informed that the pharmacist was holding it and I couldn't get it refilled until November 29, 2020. I asked to speak to the Pharmacist Sandip S. Bhagat. When he came to the consultation desk, I asked why was I unable to get the prescription refilled and he asked my name. I gave him my name and he told me rudely that I was given a 30 day supply of this medication. He then proceeded rudely to ask me why was it that I needed it? Well first of all, I thought that for him to ask me why I needed a medication was not his place. Common sense if a person comes to get medication from the pharmacy is because it is needed. I responded to him that I was in pain which was my reason for requesting the refill. I have been a customer at CVS for many years now and today was by far, the worst day I experienced from a pharmacist. I called back to ask his name and he refused to give me his name. I don't think that being in his field, he should treat customers the way that he did. Even if I couldn't get it today, he didn't have the right to rudely question me by asking "WHY?" I am not looking for any resolution to this, but I simply wanted it to be known that the behavior of Pharmacist Sandip S. Bhagat at CVS Store #4695 was totally uncalled for and was unappreciated.
