I have been holding in many many complaints about this pharmacy's handling of customers, either on the telephone when you wait forever for someone to pick up and you wait soooo long that your phone goes DEAD, to the disrespectful treating of customers at the pick up drive up window. Today was NO exception:
As I waited for someone to help me pick up my medicine, a car in the DROP OFF lane, who was there first, was of course helped first. HOWEVER, the lady was apparently NOT just dropping off. She had many many many questions and the girl was very nicely helping her for a loooooong 10 to 15 minutes. in that time, I WAS NEVER EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED BY THE TECH. NOT SO MUCH AS "I APOLOGIZE BUT WILL BE RIGHT WITH YOU". when the lady left, STILL NO ACKNOWLEDGMENT until I RANG the bell for help. Then she said she would be right with me and I related to her that I was waiting a long time ALREADY. It was totally disrespectful to me and the people behind me. The LADY with all the questions should have been brought in to discuss her insurance and other meds, etc.
This is typical of this Walgreens. They do not know how to treat ALL the people, only the one's they are helping at that moment. That is NOT acceptable.
My husband and I are with Walgreens over 20 years and in the past 3-5 years or so, it has gotten very very bad, thus this complaint.
If you value your customers, DO SOMETHING. Teach your employees how to treat customers and change your policies...when a person has questions or there is a problem, they should be made to come inside. the drive up window is not the place for such things. some people use the drive up because they have medical conditions and of course can't come inside. policies need to be changed and employees need to be briefed on customer ettiquet.
We are completely tired of being so disrespected at the drive up and on the phone by this Walgreens' pharmacy.
I went to CVS for another family member and was very quickly greeted at the window after waiting less than 5 minutes for the car in front of me to be helped.
Also, other people in the pharmacy could have offered to help this girl take care of pick up customers I'm sure. But NO ONE came. Oh they passed by, but there was no offer to help despite the girl being well engrossed with the DROP OFF customer for almost 15 minutes.
