FGUA has terrible service. There was a boil water need for 5 days 6/26/20-6/30/20 with NO notice to customers. Our water was brown. A sign on SR54 during a pandemic was not seen by me or many others in our community. No calls or texts even though they've notified customers personally in the past. Requests for 5 day rebates on water bills have been denied.
I can't find who governs this utility. FL Public Svc Commission refers me to Pasco County Utilities and Pasco Cty refers me back to FPSC! We need a new water company.
I have not received bills from FGUA in past 2 months. We've paid our balance online. Have not requested paperless statements.

Florida Governmental Utility Authority [FGUA] - charging me $125 for reconnection fee that was never turned off
The technician came to my house on 7/25/2019. He put the flyer on the door to pay by 1 pm that day but he didn't turn the water off. We paid our bill that day but they never turned our water off. They still billed us $125 to reconnect water that they didn't turn off. I have to get help from charities to pay my bills and I'm not going to have them pay for something that never happened.
I paid them $125 to pay the $98 before they turned it off. They took that money and then turned off my water. I always pay at least the minimum to keep my water from being turned off. You don't charge someone $125 to reconnect my water and come out a week later and turn it off. While taking the $125.83 I gave you to pay the $98.53 to keep my water from being turned off. That rounded the bill to an even $200 to pay this month, then I would be all caught up.
