Firestone Complete Auto Care - Tire replacement

In January of 2022 I brought my car into Firestone in Mount Dora Florida to repair my air conditioning system. I was told at that time I needed 2 new tires. I made an appointment for February 11, 2022 for the tire replacement. I had arrived at 2:15 for my 2:30 appointment. My car was driven into a bay. At 3:30 p.m. my car was still untouched. I found someone and asked for an update. After being made to feel I was an inconvenient nuisance I was told they were behind schedule. I was there for over two hours for two tires and a rotation. Ever since getting the tires replaced the tires have been extremely loud, so loud that if I was on a call through my speakers the caller could not hear me. Today, July 12, 2022 I brought my car to a competitor because I could not take the noise anymore. I was immediately advised I needed to replace my older tires and they should have been replaced when I purchased the two tires from Firestone. When removing my tires, one of the lug nuts was cross threaded and not tight and had to be broken off.

I do not understand why I had to wait over two hours when I had made an appointment. I have been using this location for years and it is always the same; running behind schedule. Being treated badly was just another insult. Why wasn’t I told I should have replaced all my tires? I use my car to drive to work only, which is a very short distance from my home, that’s it. I cannot believe that in that short period of time my tires were worn down so much that I had to replace them. Why didn’t the technician take my lug nut back off and put it on correctly when it was obvious it was not screwed on correctly? I now have to pay another technician to fix this problem.

I have attached pictures and a video for you. I am truly disappointed in the service I received and am upset that I have to spend more money on the lug nut repair.
