I've been staying in this disgusting, bug infested dump for several weeks while looking for a permanent place to live. 2 days ago I went to get my car so I could go get something to eat and my car was gone. When I came back inside to inquire where my car was I was informed that the staff had it towed away for "improper parking". I had parked my car exactly where their 3rd shift clerk, Megan, had told me to park it. This dump was having the parking lot repaved and I specifically sought out the night desk clerk to see where I was supposed to move my car to which is when Megan said it was fine where it was. I was without transportation for 2 days while I fought to get my car back. So far, this episode has cost me several hundred dollars in towing charges and my phone and eye glasses were stolen by the Uber driver I hired to take me to get my car. I want my money, phone and glasses replaced by Extended Stay America and I want the clerks responsible for this mess fired before they do this to someone else. This whole thing could have been simply avoided if the clerks had simply called my room and asked me to move my car. This dump is costing me nearly $2000.00 a month; at that price I shouldn't have to worry about a bunch of arrogant staff members with attitudes having my car towed when it could've simply been moved to another space.
Desired outcome: I want my money and property replaced.
