This service is very confusing. I paid the thirty some dollar fee, then they tell me that I still have to pay for the inmates phone calls that the facility charges. I told Securtel that in PA all PA State Prisons have a flat rate and you only pay $1.00 for a 15 minute call. That’s all of PA and it’s 24/7. So I asked them, “why would I give you thirty some dollars then still have to pay my $1.00 for our 15 minute call. That makes no sense. So the said ok, we’ll give you a refund of $14.99. (I only get 1/2 my money back and I didn’t use their services one single time! I called them 10 minutes after signing up to cancel!) That was October 26, 2023. I emailed them last week asking them if they did the refund and they said no because I never replied to them letting them know if they should proceed with the refund. I sent them the email where I replied to them on Oct. 26, 2023 saying yes please refund. They lied to me and Stole my $. Talk about them kicking me while I’m down!
