My mom and I are one the same membership. We renewed a couple of weeks ago. I used my membership card with my name on it to shop last night 11/8/2021. I mistakenly hit "yes" for getting a % back. I told the cashier I hit it by mistake, then I continued to unload my groceries. The next morning I checked my receipt, and I had been charged an upgrade fee of $55! I told the cashier it was a mistake - I guess he ignored that. Then I called member services and they said I used my moms (primary) membership # so they couldn't help me! The card I have has my name on it and her account number apparently - and has been that way since 2018... So BJ's made two mistakes, but they want me to run around and drag my 87 year old mom to the local store to correct this? Horrible service when the mistakes are clearly BJ's. This will sway us to cancel and join Costco. Very upsetting.
