I PURCHASED in full a patio set, umbrella, and water fountain yesterday. I physically saw the boxes that held the furniture, however, due to the cost being so high they offered free delivery which I accepted. I paid in full for the patio set (2 chairs, a loveseat and a conversation table), water fountain, and the expensive $450 umbrella. Everything was good to go and set to be delivered tomorrow, April 4th. I get a call from Lowes this evening saying "Sorry... the item that you paid for and was going to be delivered is no longer in stock but it's in another store. She wanted me to cancel the entire order and go through the other store. I asked her to please have piece of furniture shipped to the original store I bought everything at. She said she couldn't do that. I asked for manager to call back.
Manager calls about an hour later saying that there are NO pieces available of the item that was"not in stock today" but was last night at closing. I don't get it. The manager Olivia was not helpful at all and told me that she would discount another patio set, but the problem is this.. that's the only one I liked. I know that it was in stock when I left at 10:10 pm last night... so what do I do? I feel that since I paid in full and saw the items in stock myself... Lowes should be doing the most to get me my patio furniture... even if it[s the display model. What can I do or what do I do to get the furniture I paid for?
