Xcel Energy

On June 1, 2022 at 1:20 pm, Mark who is with Xcel Energy and was on our street fixing a downed wired in one of our neighbor's yards, pulled his truck up to where he was partly blocking our driveway! I went out and asked him if he could move the truck back and he said "why"? I said you are partly blocking our driveway! He said "do you really need to get out of your driveway now? You know I could drive a cement truck around my truck into your driveway!" I was taken aback by his angry attitude and his yelling at me! I said to him, that is not the point! You are still blocking our driveway! He kept ranting and raving at me and I said, look you need to drop the angry attitude and seek anger management to talk to a woman like that! He was still ranting and raving when my mom came out from her side of our double house and tried to talk to him, but he would not listen to what she was saying either and still belligerent with us! We tried to tell him that with the angle of our drive and my mom's depth perception (as she is in her late 70's) that getting out of the drive with him parked there was an issue, but he did NOT want to hear anything we said to him! An employee like that, who was asked nicely to move the truck back a little bit, should not be talking like that to anyone, especially us two women! It did not matter whether we needed out of the drive or not, you do NOT block driveways at someone's home you are not working on! Plus, we had storm damage and were still waiting for our tree guy to come and take care of our downed tree limbs in our yard and was expected to be here today! We didn't know what time, but again, the point is, we needed access to get out and if anyone we were going to have come to our house needed access into the drive! This Mark, needs an attitude adjustment or anger management because he should not have talked to anyone that way, but a simple question asked nicely to move the truck back a little bit!
