The employees at the branch located off Union Blvd and Dublin in Colorado Springs, Colorado confronted one of the partners of our company this past week when she went in alone. The account was negative temporarily, and she had recently added her name to the account. The employee asked our owner if she "knew what she got herself into, " and warned her "to be careful because it can go on her credit." Now mind you, our company literally gets $13, 000 to $25, 000 direct deposited into it from the State Government WEEKLY. Not monthly, WEEKLY. The account is negative because they chose to not help us block unauthorized people from taking funds. They said we had to close the account if we wanted to do so. We explained, due to the deposits that come in, that we could not easily change the account. So we kept it open. I have no idea what this lady thought her place was in telling our owner this "warning." If the account went negative every single day, it would be automatically covered by Thursday of the next week. You have to refuse to pay overdrafts and negative balance, and get the account closed with a charge-off way before anything would even TOUCH your credit. So her uneducated, unethical, and frankly rude comment was not acceptable. And mind you, she is new to this branch. They almost shut this branch down because not enough customers were visiting. We encouraged business and did several surveys because the one employee they did have (for months on end without any help) named Kaelen, is amazing! They need to value the good employees who keep their customers. Not bring in new people who are rude and chase their client's away. I did not appreciate this happening.
