Filed formal complaint to resident manager after learning from security guard that maintenance supervisor had been making disparaging remarks about us and going out of his way to harass/disturb us. We are now being charged mysterious sums of money after moving out and believe the maintenance supervisor is retaliating against us for filing the complaint. This is only the most recent issue with this building, which we why we have vacated.
Since moving in 2021, we have had 6 resident managers and 3 maintenance supervisors. This shows that things are not functioning properly. Residents steal packages without recourse. Unhoused people sleep all over the premises and sometimes enter the building undetected. A resident allowed his dog to defecate in our planter and went unpunished. A former resident manager lied to us for months about a unit that did not exist and then stopped showing up to work. Earlier this year a flood caused us to lose the bottom of our bedroom wall and we spent 3 months with our bedroom exposed to the hallway. On top of this, unprofessional behavior by multiple staff but especially Ray, the current maintenance supervisor, accompanied by slow responses to emails and disinterest from leadership regarding these ongoing issues.
Desired outcome: Review, examine and itemize costs for repairs with specific amounts; discipline and/or remove maintenance supervisor.
