I ordered a starter via phone (vic) on 8/6/2019 and I went to autozone 5369 - 730 n. Azusa avenue west covina, ca branch that same day. Upon picking up, the person helping me was a new employee of autozone and I asked him if I would get my $40 back once I returned the old starter (core). He responded, no! I knew that he is a new employee and probably he doesn't know yet. He called this lady eliza escuita. I asked her the question and she said, yes you will get your $40 back when I return the core (in a not so ideal manner). After she answered, while she was walking fast away from me, I asked her another question. I asked if I will get my $40 back... Then she interrupted me and said: "you already asked that question! He heard it! He is my witness! She was referring to the new employee! I told her that yes I did ask a similar question but my question was:"if I will get my $40 back when I return the core in cash or would it be debited to the card I used"? The employee was so disrespectful of me saying I am rude and I kept asking the same questions! I was just there to pick-up my order and clarify things that are not clear with me. I work as a manager and I always teach my employees to be respectful of customers even if their questions annoys you. I just have to bring this to your attention, that a employee such as eliza escuita can ruin autozone's good name. As for me, as I talked to the store manager (george karmel), I told him that I would never again set foot of his store because of the disrespect I got for just picking up my order and asked questions.
