The incident happened may 18th 2023 around 3:40pm. I made an online order and went to pick up. I go straight in to the line where one employee nicely greets me from behind the counter. After like 2 minutes standing in the line the boss comes from her office looking at me but says something to the employee about ringing up the customers. So, I think nothing of it. The boss calls next Customer as she finishes up with customer she turns around to see what’s in my hand which was only my cell phone nothing else. Next thing I notice security is at the front entrance looking at me and made sure to keep the door wide open and it was closed at first. He keeps staring at me waking in and out the store like he’s waiting for me or something and talking to someone. I finally get to register and get my order. As I go out it’s two security guards looking at me not once did the first one go back in the store once I walked out. Then I put it all together the boss called security on me like I was going to rob them or something. And yes I’m a black woman and the store mainly was Hispanic people plus employee and boss are Hispanic too. So, clearly I was being racially profiled out.
