My daughter went to the deli department on Thursday, 10/26 to place an order for 6, 8-piece fried chicken pieces. She spoke to Thomas. He was told we would pick up the chicken Saturday, 10/28 at 5:00 pm. It was for a Halloween party we were attending. Come Saturday, a little after 5:00 pm we go to Fry's to pick up our order. NO order. They claimed it was an oversight. We left without our chicken and complained to management. After we got to the party and realized there was no meat, we called the deli and asked them to go ahead and make the order.
I don't know if it was because we complained, or someone was just not using their head, but all 48 pieces were put in one box, which was really heavy. At the party, I put 3/4 of the chicken in a heating tray. When I picked up the box to move it, the greasy bottom fell out and I lost about 1/4 of the order. The chicken fell on a carport floor and ended up being tosses.
Needless to say, all of this really dampened my mood, plus the whole episode was an inconvenience for us.
Claimed loss: I'd say about one order of an 8-piece chicken.
Desired outcome: Wow, we got 10% off our order, which was probably the 10% that fell on the floor.
