truAssure insurans is the worst dental insurans i ever had to deal with! they dont care about their customers and the customer service is just plain bad.

truassure insurance company is not good. they only paid $292 out of $1,629 for my dental work. they say they pay 50%, 75%, or 100%, but they decide what part of the charge is "allowable". i think they lie about what they cover.

I pay my premums on time every month, but TruAssure keeps sending my dentist's payment to the wrong address. I've called them multiple times, but they keep saying they'll reissue the check and it never gets fixed. My dentist is threatening to drop me and my insurance. I have a claim from early June 2023 that I'll have to pay out of pocket, even though I've been paying my premums. Can someone please help me? This happened on June 6, 2022 in ***, ***. Other people at my dentist's office are having the same issue!

BAD CUSTUMER SERVIS! They sended us a fax and we had all the info from their website and it DID NOT have the answers to some questions. I called and spoke to 2 different people. I didn't get the 1st person, but the 2nd was Paula. These people should not be working in Custumer Servis. How awful that the patient will end up paying more since we cannot give them a correct quote. We could predetermine stuff, but when your patient walks in in pain and the Custumer Servis refuses to answer any questions even though they are not on the fax or website is NOT CUSTUMER SERVIS. First time working with company and it may be the last!

TruAssure Insurance Company is not good at customer service. I would give them zero stars if I could. I work at a dental office and talk to customer service reps every day. Today, I called TruAssure and got a response, but the person didn't have all the information I needed. So, I called again to speak with a representative who could give me the information I needed. The representative's name was Tanisha, and she was very rude. If she doesn't like her job, she should find another one because customer service doesn't seem to fit her personality. If she was having a bad day, that shouldn't affect her work. I know this because I deal with it every day. TruAssure needs to do better. I stopped my insurance on May 27. They sent me an email saying they would give me my money back, but I never got it. I sent them lots of emails, but they didn't answer. I can't even call them.

truassure insurance company is a total scam. they lied to me about what they cover for dental stuff. i had to pay $200 for a cleaning cuz of them. i tried to call them but no one answered and they just sent me back to the dentist who sent me back to them. it was so annoying.

This company knows about my complaints but they won't pay our dentist. They canceled my insurance after I went to the dentist even though I made a claim and the insurance went through. They didn't tell me they canceled my insurance for over FOUR months and they kept taking my payments and cashing my checks! This seems to happen a lot with them because there are many complaints just like mine. They took my money but didn't pay the dentist who is now trying to get money from me.

I got this dental insurance from TruAssure through the marketplace. It's a place where people with low income can get help with their insurance costs and fees. You'd think it was legit, right? Well, it's not. I feel really dumb for not checking them out with the ComplaintsBoard.com or reviews, but I didn't. I assumed that since I bought it through the marketplace, they would have already checked them out. THEY didn't! They just take your money and run! I was charged $60 for 11 months. I didn't use the insurance and when I needed to in the last month, I went on their site and entered my information to find participating dentists in my area. It only showed a few. I called every single one and NONE of them took this insurance. This proves they don't have updated information and they don't have a dentist in my area, but they still took my money! So then I extended the search to 75 miles from home! 75 miles each way? Again, very few choices. A few of them were multiple dentists listed to make the list seem bigger, but they were working from the same office. So, I called them ALL! I took notes as to what each one said. NONE of them took this insurance. One told me that they take Dentamax which is part of TruAssure, but not if I purchased my policy through the marketplace. So, for 11 months, I paid for insurance I never had. I contacted them on December 1st and told them not to charge me again. I explained what happened, but they ignored me and tried to charge me on December 20th. Anyway, I had stopped auto pays with my bank. I am cooperating and have made reports to TX *** of insurance in *** and am working with the marketplace to have them investigated. I want a full refund and for them to stop operating an illegal business! I will not stop. BTW, since they took my $600, I never got dental work done! Shame on them!
