Wrongful charge of $4.99
Ive never even heard of your company until this day. Lately I been getting annoying calls from 1–800 numbers which I never picked up! Might of accidentally dialed back one time. Now I’m questioning if that was you.., #2030 I’ve never dialed in my life . 90% of people these days text or email. I don’t call. This should be a crime charging ppl for what they didn’t do
Desired outcome: Refund me damni
services of third party billing, triton global, for number 807-788-1246
On my June Rogers bill there is a charge on my home phone for $3.89 listed as a 1 minute call for services of third party billing company, Triton Global. Apparently that call took place on May 16 @15:22 when no one was at home. The number called is 807-788-1246. Checked the internet and there are lots of complaints going back as far as 2014. Why can't you do something about it? Your reputation is at risk here, unbelievable!
triton global assist-ann
There were 2 charges on my phone bill, August 30/18. Each one claimed one minute at a cost of $3, 89. It states the call type as OZ. Please remove this charge from my September 20/18 bill. My account number is 11512350ZZZ109. I had mislaid my bill and paid it on the phone as is my custom. When informed of the total, I was shocked at the increased amount from my customary monthly charge, but paid it anyway to avoid service charges. Today, I found the bill and when I checked it, discovered the unauthorized charge. I have never heard of this group and was informed it likely is a scam. Because my account is already paid, I'm requesting a credit on my November bill because the October bill is likely in the mail to me already.
I ask for your action on this matter, please. When I cv lick on 'proceed', nothing that I encounter makes any sense.
Thank you,
Dulcie Facey for Gary.

directory assistance to unknown number [protected]
Received Bill on rogers home phone for 3.89 (listed as 1 minute call) for Services of Third party billing company, Triton Global.
Roger's Reversed charges for us per request.
Called Triton Global [protected]. Assistance said they will block my number but not reverse the charges as this was a call to a wrong number listed as Canada Revenue Agency May 17 2018 at 15:55 and 16:04 and that number was forwarded to correct 1-866 number. Trouble is, no one was home at that time. This is a home phone that does not travel more that 60 feet from the house!
untold fees that appear on cell phone bills
Triton Global charges fees that are untold. They PROMOTE sex lines and astrology services (and other kind of services) for free trial then charge for full paying services even when the free trial option is selected with the phone automatic menu. They then denied telling they don't promote, that only the paying option was chose and that the menu is clearly telling the fees if well listened. Which is all false. Even when the free trial option is selected, they charge and say you did accept for being charged. So now, how could you prove you selected free! This is fraudulent way to work and there is no chance they ever say "oh yeah right, we made a mistake".
Unauthorized telephone charge

I have the same problem, and I explained this to Rogers, who said that it was not them, to call the # on my billing, which I did, only to hear that it was not them and could not give me any explanations. I called Triton and tried to get some explanations on that so called call, and again, they could not provide it to me. Furthermore, the lady who called me was not cooperative and hung up on me. I am no0t a happy camper and do not intend to pay this.
charge of 3.99 for 2 minute call
Got a charge of 2.00 for a call to DetroitZn on Jan. 16.2013 to # [protected].Global calls. Than an additonal charge of 02.00 for third party calls. For a total of 03.99 total charge. If I had made this call I think I would remember it. I do not and repeat, not know anybody in the USA.
I don't know anybody in the USA. Please call me at the number above to resolve this problem. I tried to reach you at the number given to me by Rogers my phone service and left two messages, and never received a call from you. Service not too good.
I really want to resolve this problem. Louis Bonneville Feb.28/2013.
phone scam
I been a victim of this great scam. I am freaking out. This company who ever the hell they are are hurting people financially. Destroying peoples credit. All I know is that I am going to find out who they are and they are going to pay. This kind of scam is going to be made public, to news media news paper and all over the internet. Innocent people are getting scamed by this company being charged for calls that are costing them 39.95, on their phone bills and than are being billed for that money. I fuming mad. Bell fixed some of the problems but not all. If they don't fix it they too are going to have legal action taken against them also.
signed pissed off.
phone bill
There were two unauthorized charges on my phone bill. One for
$39.95 for 12 minutes and 1 for $39.95 for 10 minutes. I have no idea who made these calls. I am a senior citizen and cannot afford these unauthorized calls. The calls were made at 1:16 & 1:30 am Nov. 2/10. I called Triton Global in Calgary, Alberta but they would do nothing about it. Is there anything that could be done?

Hello, I work for a communication company in Western Canada. While I agree it is easy to blame the messenger (Triton Global / Your phone provider) for charges that appear on your bill. Triton global is the company that passes a charge from 1 provider to another so they are literally " the middle man" passing a charge from 1 phone carrier to another. The right place to complain is to the CCTS but not that the charges appeared on your providers statement, but about the number that generated the charge. there are a few free carrier look up sites such as http://www.freecarrierlookup.com/ if you have a non toll free number that appeared on your carriers statement lookup the number using a site like this and it will let you know what phone carrier owns that number (MTS, Telus, Shaw, Bell, Iristel, Primus etc). Most charges that are passed along by Triton Global are due to a toll free number that has changed (Example an old Manulife toll free line is disconnected, a company buys that number so when you call it it plays a message similar to "The number you have call has changed. To be connected press 1 now (short pause) for a fee of $x.xx) press one now to be connected."
In many instances that pause is there so you may press 1 and never hear that there is a charge for being connected to the correct number. Again you as the consumer are calling a toll free number why would you expect there to be a charge for calling a toll free line.
Often the number that will appear on your statement will not be the toll free line you called but a Canadian phone number that the toll free line points to (anyone can get a toll free line so they pay the long distance fees rather than someone having to call long distance). While I do not like how these services work especially with the "pause" before saying the charge (or having the working be "The number you have call has changed. for a fee of $x.xx) press one now to be connected." ) AT least this way the consumer is made aware of the charge before given instructions to press 1. I encourage anyone who has a triton global charge they do not understand to look their statement and see what number sent the charge to their carrier. Lookup who the provider is for that phone number and file a complaint with the CCTS for the carrier of the number and not the one who's bill it appeared under. This is the only way you can complain about how that service is operating and not directly to your phone provider as they have no control over how a phone number that you called is operating.
SAME CHARGE ON OUR ROGERS ACCT ROGERS TAKES A CUT OF THE CHARGE SO THEY ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE VOGUS FALSE CALL
I have been charged hundreds of dollars by this company and I never had any dealings with them now bell is saying that they are legit charges even though I never made them and I have threatened not to pay my phone bill and now I may get the charges dropped but I doubt it
Dec. 27, 2012 Triton Global DIR ASSIST $3.99 PLUS TAX charged to my Rogers bill
I know I didn't accept any charges and don't think I answered this call.
I am on the NCL list but this didn't help. The number was [protected] I tried to trace it back and think it might be a company in Detroit Michigan called Allegiance Telecom. Rogers suggested I call them but since this a long distance number I was afraid it might cost me more than the $3.99.
Simular happened to me today . I recieved my monthly statement from Bell Canada and on one page under the heading

Charges on phone calls
I got my phone bill and was double charged, one provider gave access code when dialing out which was correct but triton Global charge me for the same phone calls . When I phoned them they said they were a correctional facility provider so how could have made those phone calls if they didn't give me an access code and I'm not in a correctional facility and no one that I know that is in there either. I had a hard time trying to explain to my regular provider and still never got credited to my account. I find it so frustrating because i got double billed and if i don't pay my bill it keeps getting higher so i paid for my bill in full but am i ever going to get my money back for double charging me for two months.

$44.02 on my phone bill
Recived a 44.02 BILL FROM A CALL TO THIS COMPANY. DID NOT CALL. IT IS A SCAM CHECK YOUR BILL CAREFULLY
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I was also just charged $55 for this Triton service that I did not sign up for. I'm with Rogers and they took the charges off my bill and have blocked them from contacting me in the future. The crazy thing is apparently I received a text saying to continue chatting call dial some # number and sure enough the charge was on my bill, even though I never dialed that number. What a scam. Hopefully someone gets to the bottom of it soon.
Thank you for sharing your experiences hopefully more people come forward and complain!
Hope you all get your money back!
Cheers,
Renee

Unauthorized collect charges
Back in june i had some mysterious collect call charges on my bell bill. There was only 1 but they cost $10 / min (From within canada) and the total was $12. 95. I called bell and they removed it.
Later the company sent me a bill directly, already marked as 'this account is overdue", for the same $12. 95. They also said that it would be wise if i paid or they would screw with my credit rating. They were nice enough to include a stamped envelope for my payment.
Called triton global services on july 13 to investigate why i was sent a collections invoice by triton global directly.
[protected] spoke with a jim liang who checked into the invoice # on the bill. Asked why i was being charged for a collect call when the call was a local number made from a pay phone. The person rerouted the call from toronto via calgary telco and back to toronto.
I find it very strange that i also received 2 additional calls on july 13 at 7:41pm and 7:43pm from a representative from triton global service asking about a product i purchased from the brick in 2008. Did a *69 twice on the last calls in
Number [protected].
The scam is not to accept the call as your fridge, stove or dishwasher has been recalled can we have the make and model with s / n as the product is defective and may cause fire not to use until repaired.
I received 2 unauthorized charges on my phone bill, I called shaw and they said it wasn't their problem, this Triton global needs to be shut down before they scam too many people .
I saw two charges on my phone bill that I never authorized and I called spoke to someone named Danielle who later hung up on me and I told her I didn't approve those charges she said that I confirmed yes or allowed in a text message to verify the purchase.. guess what I don't have a text message at all I then requested proof from their end that I replied allowed for the purchase because I cannot find the purchase nor can I locate a copy of the transaction through my apple store. If anyone is willing to file a suit against this company I am down!
NEVER USE ONE OF THERE PHONE BOOTH you will be charge 4$ a minute
This month I saw a long distance charge on my bill totalling $43.92 for a 2 minute collect call. Looking at the date that the call was made, I called Bell aliant to dispute this charge, as no one was home. I can even prove nobod was home through pay stubs and witnesses. They told me that somebody had to be home to press a button to accept the collect call so I have to pay it. I told them I'm not paying it and was going to take this further. Still they won't take it off. The number is [protected], from Montreal QC and it was charged to my Bell Aliant bill using TRITONGLBL. I have no idea what I am going to do as I can't afford to pay that much. This is just a stress nobody needs so close to the holidays. Arggg its so frustrating how this company is making money off innocent people!
$39.95 in collect call charges for April 20, 2012 at 6:27 am
Can we not sue these guys? If I found a lawyer would anyone be interested in taking this further? They are an American Company can we not sue them for an damages, time spent dealing with this, bad credit issues or being bullied by bogus collection agencies? This shouldn't be able to happen over an over again without some repercussions. I will look into what our rights are to put forth a civil class action suit against these scam artists. If even just to bring them down. I just wasted my Sunday afternoon trying to figure out what all this bs was and my time is money. I want that time back.
Please respond if you are interested in pursuing this further or email me at eener_rekab@hotmail.com. If anyone else has already looked into this or if something is already in the works please let me know as I will happily do whatever it takes to put a stop this.
Cheers,
Renee
My name is Daryl Tremblay and I just received my phone bill from Telus today and saw that I have a charge of $49.88 for 2 minutes to Triton Global made on May 17th at 7:32 PM. I called Telus and was told that they are in no way connected to these people and to not answer the phone if this number appears on my call display. This is fine providing that I or my wife are home, but what if my answering machine takes the call? Telus has agreed to credit this to my next phone bill but I am stuck paying this charge this month. When I mentioned contacting the RCMP if I see this number again, I was basically told not to bother as they are a legitimate company. I wonder what the next entity will be with their hands in my pockets!
Be careful with an app on android called Droid Defender, your battery runs out, this app appears asking you to assist you for battery drain, making you think is the samsung galaxy S3 included Battery app. You follow the instructions, next thing you know you receive a text message saying thanks for buying the app for 30 dls!
If you get strange phone charges on your bill from [protected] or other similar numbers. THIS IS A SCAM, FRAUD! Call your TSP (telecommunications services provider), eg. Bell Canada, Primus, Rogers and start a ticket = dispute for the charges. Tell your TSP that this is Triton Global fraud, you never accepted any collect calls. (They know all about it because there are many victims and big investigation going) http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-514-664-8629/2#p506726115635427024
If you are in Canada:
Register a complaint with CCTS (Commissioner for Complaints for Telecommunications Services)
https://www.ccts-cprst.ca/en/complaints/complaint-form
Register on the do not call list of CRTC (Canadian Radio and Telecommunications Commission)
https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/insnum-regnum-eng
Call the scammers TRITON GLOBAL toll free at [protected] You have to leave a message because no one answers the phone. Say that you registered a complaint with the CCTS and are on the CRTC (do not call list (register if you are not already) you did not accept any collect calls, and I demand that you reverse the charges from my phone number xxx xxx-xxxx,
Apparently, Triton Global counts on people not noticing the charges and just paying the bill. 100, 000's of people getting caught in this scam not only in Canada, but also USA

1-900 Numbers
Any time you call a 1-900 number, be aware that:
•You are paying for the call — often at a minimum charge of about $35.
•Area codes 1-900, 1-976 and 1-809 have a similar minimum charge.
•The promoter gets a portion of the money from each incoming call.
•Pay-per-charge numbers are used by legitimate businesses to charge their customers for information services; however, such businesses tell you about the fee upfront.
•One scam artist often sells to another the names and telephone numbers of people who’ve lost money.
•If you are concerned, you can order a call-blocking service from your telephone company that restricts your phone from making certain types of calls. Don’t confuse 1-900 numbers with toll-free numbers, which allow consumers to contact government and business offices without paying a long-distance charge. Toll-free numbers begin with area codes 1-800, 1-888 and 1-877.
Two 1-900 Number Scenarios
Scenario 1
His pager alerted the man to call an odd-looking number beginning with 1-900. He called, then sat through a long information message about health. Before he spoke with a live person, the line was automatically disconnected. Shaking his head, he hung up.
A few weeks later, he received a telephone bill for $35 with the 1-900 telephone number he had dialled earlier in the month beside the amount.
Scenario 2
The newspaper ad said to dial the 1-900 number splashed across the page in bright red print to win a trip to Mexico. "All you have to do is call!" It sounded simple enough.
The consumer decided to take the plunge. After all, what did he have to lose?
He dialed the number and waited patiently for the lengthy information message to end. But before he could speak with someone, the line was automatically disconnected. He hung up.
One month later, the man’s telephone bill showed a $50 charge for the 1-900 call he had placed.
Billing concern
I'm getting mail from a company (Tr_g_ton global business services) who claims i should pay them $45. 00
For a chat service that was probably in some news paper i found. . I did in fact respond the the add which
Said try free or something to that effect. . It's kinda foggy, but i know i never spoke to a human being
For this dating / chat phone service but only heard a recorded message which said push this and that. .
For such and such a result. . I first recieved a bill on the home bell telephone account which is in my step fathers name,
Had them (Glbl services) blocked and then weeks later had a bill of, now above the origional 39. . 95 to a $45. 00 dollers. .
They broke it down as such on there own bill. . . $39. 95 plus tx of $5. 15. . Hmm how did that happen. . .
I might expect interest, but a tax on the initial amount? Which was already totalling $39. 95
Something doesn't smell right. . Can i succeed if i take them to court? Mike
