Let me start by saying when I first walked in I was greeted with smiles and wonderful hospitality. My salesman name was *** he was awesome to work with. I came in with a set price for a down payment and monthly car payment in mind and no particular vehicle lol. He didnt lie to me about the availability and was honest that I may have to be flexible with my monthly payment which ended up not being too far from what I had in mind. With my busy work schedule he even brung me all my paperwork and car, once everything was finalized. Ive heard all of the stressful car buying stories but *** really made my experience a breeze. Highly recommend their place of business. No shade to the other salesman Im sure they are great but *** definitely is going to make you leave happy and at ease about your purchase. Trust the process!

I wish I could give no stars honestly. First of all they are extremely shady and will lie to anyone and everyone to get you in a vehicle and off their lot. They lied to the finance company about the options that are listed on my vehicle. So after driving off the lot it took me 2 weeks to get financing on a car I was already driving?! Then trying to get the title was a nightmare. I have 4 days left to plate this vehicle and pay the personal property taxes. Tried to call the salesman twice and first time he said he didn't have it yet second time nothing back. Tried to call the manager. NOTHING. Finally I drove up there and explained my frustration and concerns. The manager goes to the back and gets my title for me after causing chaos all for them to have the title on hand?! Now why did it take all that for something you could have just handed me?! I'm so confused. Extremely shady. I will never do business with them again.

I bought a car from Travers Motor City Auto Sales on March 26th, 2022. But, not long after, the water pump broke down. We took the car back to them last Thursday, but they haven't fixed it yet. And they're not even answering my calls.

I bought a car from Travers Motor City Auto Sales and it broke down on me after only 2 days. I asked for a different car or my money back, but they said no. They said they fixed it, but 2 weeks later it broke down again, so they never really fixed it. Now they won't give me my money back or let me get a different car.

Bought car here month ago. Asked if get $500 back if loan no good. Dude said "Yeah". But he didn't say what info needed until last minute. Bank said no. They took car and said no money back. Now they not answering phone.

I got a car from Travers Motor City Auto Sales last September and I paid for an extra warranty. But a few days ago, the check engine light came on and I had to take it to the repair shop. They had trouble with the warranty and found out it was never turned on. I talked to Brian from the dealership and he tried to scare me. Travers says it's on now, but I've been paying for it since September and I want my money back. The extra warranty payment is part of my monthly car payment.

So my bro was trying to buy a car from Travers Motor City Auto Sales but they said he needed a co-signer. My wife said she'd do it and he put down $4800 in early September and signed a contract with the dealer. He got the keys and drove the car home but two weeks later they found out there was a problem with his job. They rewrote the contract with higher terms but he had already moved out of state for work. He agreed to the new terms and my wife finally did too after two more weeks, but she was mad that they checked her credit without asking. Now it's been another week and they want my wife to update her address and references because it's been 30 days. It's been three weeks of this because the bank hasn't paid the dealer yet. What if the bank doesn't pay?

I copped a 2019 Dodge Charger from Travers and I knew the sales dude for a hot minute, so I was hyped to finally get a whip from him. But it's been a minute since I bought it on June 17th and I still ain't got my title yet! I hit them up multiple times and talked to a few different peeps, but they keep saying they'll get back to me and I ain't heard nothing. Now me and my fam gotta share a car for errythang and it's mad stressful. My ride is just sitting in the driveway collecting dust 'cause it's illegal to drive without the title. They said they'll pay for my late fees, but I don't give a damn about that. I just wanna drive my car already! I'm worried they played me and there ain't no title at all. They need to pay for my registration, plates, taxes, whatever you wanna call it 'cause this is straight up WRONG! And they need to give me my damn title already! It's been weeks since I first hit them up about it and still nada.

I went to Travers Motor City Auto Sales for the first time in Feb. I got approved right away. I had good credit and $2500 cash for a car. But the first car they gave me broke down in less than 2 months. They let me trade it in, but they didn't close out the first bill. This messed up my credit score. The second car was brand new, but the bank kicked out the loan in less than a month. I was without a car for a while. They were supposed to let me trade in the second car, but they didn't. So I went back with $1500 cash for vehicle #3. But before I could even pay the first month's note, they told me to drop off the car because the bank didn't approve it. They said I was approved when I was on the lot, but the bank said the dealer gave them false info about my job without my permission. Now I can't call them because they blocked my number. They're not good at communicating as a business.

I bought a car from Travers Motor City Auto Sales about a year ago and now I'm having transmission problems. I tried to contact them a few times but they keep telling me to talk to the salesperson, Ben, who I can never get in touch with. They told me to take the car to their shop but I have to pay for the transmission service since I didn't get the extended warranty. When I bought the car, they assured me that if I had any problems, I could bring it back to them. Now that I need them, they're giving me the runaround and I feel like I was taken advantage of. The car has been giving me problems for the past 4 months and now the transmission is out. I don't think I should have to pay for a transmission replacement or rebuild with a car that I've had for less than a year. The car code was fine but the transmission shouldn't go out that early.

I went to Travers Motor City on Dunn road to buy a car on October 23. I got there when they opened and *** helped me fill out my credit app. I waited for eight hours and had to call in to work to be "approved" by a bank. Finally, we test drove a silver 2019 Nissan Rogue that I loved. Once I agreed to buy it, we signed some papers with *** to finalize everything. *** asked me to take a picture for his Facebook page, then I left. On October 29, *** sent me a text asking me to call him with "good news." He said I needed to come back to Travers Motor City to re-sign some paperwork because the bank made a mistake and my car payment would be lower. I arrived at 9 am and stayed until 12 pm waiting for him to gather paperwork for me to sign. The new paperwork said my car payment would be $479/month instead of $522/month. On November 3, someone named *** called me asking if I talked to ***. He said the bank didn't approve my loan and I needed to return the car that day. He said I could choose another car for a lower price. I said I wanted my money back and paperwork saying I wouldn't be charged for the $25,000 loan. He insisted I come in with my co-signer or by myself, but I declined. Now I'm out of $3,000 and a car. It seems sketchy to me, and I want my money back for the down payment in cash/debit and the insurance I already paid for on the car.
