It was great! I was actually pleasantly surprised when the technician came 2 hours early, and he was great. He knew a lot, was polite, and really helpful. He was a great representative for your company.

I had an appointment with a handyman from Total Appliance & Air Conditioning Repairs, Inc. They gave me an all-day appointment, which meant I had to stay by my door for around 12 hours. I went to the bathroom for a moment, and it turns out they came to my door, knocked, and left. Just 10 minutes later, when I went to throw away some trash, I found a tag on my door saying they had missed me. I immediately called them, but had to wait on hold for about 30 minutes. Finally, when I got through, I explained what happened, and they told me the handyman couldn't come back because he was already on his way to boca. What a load of nonsense and a convenient lie! Both my neighbor and I took time off work to wait for this sorry excuse of a company. They are the most irresponsible company I've ever dealt with.

I contacted Total about a leak in my AC unit, not because of a clogged drain that happens once a year. On the first day, the technician said the leak was because of an electronically controlled valve that wouldn't close, causing constant cold water flow and the leak. Okay, I ordered and replaced the valve. They charged me $125 for the service call and $175 for the valve replacement with installation. On the second day, the technician replaced the valve, but for some reason, couldn't get the bedroom A/C to work. This A/C was for my two bedrooms. He took out the bedroom thermostat and also the living room and dining room thermostat, which were working fine! Now they want $350 each for two thermostats! I have no cooling in my apartment and they won't let me have it unless I pay up! I checked on Amazon and good thermostats are around $120. They took out a perfectly working thermostat so I have no cooling at all, just to force me to pay crazy fees. I'm a senior citizen and they're taking advantage of me. It's awful! Don't use this company, it's the worst.

My *** broke down and I called Total Appliance in ***, . They came in and charged me $125 to turn it off and on. That did not fix the problem. They came back and charged me $681 to fix it. They said the *** will start working in an hour. They left. The *** did not start working. The company refused to come back and fix it and refused to refund the money. They collected $125 and $681 for trying to do something and never fixed the problem.

I called Total Appliance & Air Conditioning Repairs, Inc. to fix the leaking faucets in my kitchen and bathroom. A technician came and attempted to order the necessary parts. The parts arrived, but even after installing a replacement kit, the faucet in the kitchen continued to leak. They also replaced a faucet in the master bathroom, but unfortunately, a small piece was broken, causing a leak in the pipe. Instead of properly fixing it, they just placed a bunch of plumbing stuff to prevent the leak. However, the kitchen sink is still leaking. It seems like every time the service technician tries to fix one thing, they end up breaking something else. This kind of service is completely unacceptable.

I got this yearly contract with Total Appliance & Air Conditioning Repairs, Inc. to cover all my appliances. But let me tell you, it takes them forever to come and figure out what's wrong, order the parts, and actually fix the problem. This year alone, my dryer broke and it took them a whopping six weeks to get it up and running again. And just recently, the lights in my living room and bedroom stopped working. Can you believe that the earliest appointment they could give me was two weeks away? How am I supposed to live without lights in my own bedroom and living room for two whole weeks? Their excuse is that they don't have enough help. Well, if that's the case, maybe they shouldn't have taken on so many clients. This kind of service is beyond poor. I mean, why should I have to pay for a full contract and still wait two weeks before someone can even come and assess the problem? It's just ridiculous.

I've been renewing my appliance maintenance contract with this company for over 10 years now. Every year, I buy a replacement condition in case any of my appliances break and can't be fixed. I like having peace of mind, so I don't mind spending a little extra for it! But when it's time to fulfill that part of the contract, all I get are empty promises. At first, they said I would receive a replacement check in 2 weeks. Well, it's been almost 2 months now and still no check. And when you ask the people in charge of sending the check, they sound hopeful! They keep saying the check will come at the beginning of this week. But it hasn't happened yet! I won't be renewing my annual contract with this company anymore. I don't know if other maintenance companies are any better, but I'll be trying a different one. Liars shouldn't get rewarded with contract renewals!

I've been with Total for over 5 years now. I live on the ground floor in a condo, and my air conditioner always gets clogged with sludge because of where it's located. This happens every 2 months, and then the air conditioner stops working. I contacted Total on Sunday, but they couldn't send someone until Tuesday. The person they sent opened up the air conditioner and said it's not working because of the sludge, which we already knew. However, he didn't have the equipment to flush the system, so I had to wait for the air conditioning specialist to come, which won't be until another day. I called the supervisor and left a voicemail. It's been 2 and a half hours now, and I'm still waiting for an answer. How can you send someone to fix an air conditioner when they don't know how? Why am I paying all this money to Total if they're so incompetent? Seriously, you send someone to fix an air conditioner, and they're not even qualified to do it. They can only tell you what's wrong.

I called and complained to Total about 6-7 months ago 'bout my lights in the front and rear closets, and also the kitchen lights not workin'. They kept tellin' me for 5 months that they ordered parts, but finally they came and fixed 'em all 'cept the front closet. I called 'em and asked why the front closet wasn't fixed when they fixed the other lights, and they said they had to order parts again. I had Stanley Steamer come and clean my AC vents and coil. They said it was all dusty and clogged and told me to call Total to clean it. So, I called Total and they sent a guy who said the job was done and cleaned. He was in my house for only 5 minutes and told the office it didn't need cleanin'. But when I went up there and checked, Stanley Steamer was right, it was full of dust and garbage and needed cleanin'. It hasn't been cleaned since we moved in here in 1987. I want the coils cleaned and my front closet light fixed ASAP, and also the AC tuned up like I asked before summer, but they didn't do that either. I paid $483 for a whole year of service and all they do is not do the job right or mess it up and have to come back 5 times to fix it. It's a waste of my time and the company's time too.
