I am not sure why--but plumbing issues always seem to happen on a weekend with us. This time we had a clogged sink - We have used TJK in the past for a project so decided to call them first. SO glad we did. We again had excellent response time with very clear communications with estimated time of arrival and service fees. Teddy showed up right away and did a fantastic job. He knew what he was doing, took time to ensure the issue was fixed and cleaned up after he had completed a very dirty job with years of grease build up. The prices were more than fair and you can't ask for a more reliable team. I would recommend them anytime and will use them again for any future needs.

TJK Plumbing responded immediately for my service call. They had a technician on site with 1 hour and the tech immediately began repairs. The tech was Josh. Josh diagnosed the issue, recommended actions to replace the leaking water heater under warranty, and then professionally installed the replacement water heater. Josh was very knowledgable, understanding, and professional. His work was of high quality and very neat. He thoroughly explained all of the steps along the way, and reviewed his work once it was completed. I have been very happy with previous work from TJK Plumbing, too. They have consistently provided high quality service with a high level of professionalism.

We had a basement leak below our kitchen sink and weren't able to determine the source. Nothing was wet below the sink so we thought it was behind the cupboard wall and that it would be difficult and expensive to fix. In a short time, Josh from TDK plumbing found an issue with the garbage disposal and replaced it, fixing the leak. Josh was great! He listened to us and took the time to analyze the problem. Once the new disposal was in, we were able to help him make sure there were no other leaks. And in the middle of all that, he fixed our constantly running toilet. Total cost ended up being about half of what we had prepared to pay. We totally recommend TDK Plumbing and Josh!

I requested Josh for my sump pump installation and laundry tub install and hook up because of a prior fabulous experience. Jake came as well and These two technicians worked very well together and completed my projects with extreme expertise and professionalism. Josh checked all the installation to make sure everything was working properly and they cleaned up the entire area meticulously. He went over everything and explained how it was to work. Left all materials for me to review to insure I knew how it was all to work. Answered all my questions and went above and beyond all my expectations. I will continue to call TJK Plumbing for all future needs. Josh and Jake were very great technicians!

I am always impressed by the service I receive from TJK Plumbing. I have had the good fortune to have technician, Teddy, deal with drain issues for me on several occasions. He is personable, skillful, knowledgeable, and helpful. His assistant, Kyle, was also a great addition to the drain team when they came to my house today. I also appreciate the customer support from TJK Plumbing, from helpful, responsive office staff, to the business model of giving customers a gift card as well as donating a matching gift to Feed My Starving Children. The company's personnel and style reflect integrity and service. I will continue to use TJK Plumbing for my plumbing needs, and will encourage others to do the same!

This is the second time we have used TJK Plumbing. They fit us in ahead of the original scheduled time. Brad J., the technician was very polite and courteous. He took the time to assess the problem, explain in detail what he was going to do, and then completed his work in a timely fashion. He made sure the problem was corrected before he proceeded. He then gave me a detailed explanation again of the work he completed, and showed me where a potential problem may happen in the near future and gave me an estimate of what that repair would cost. He cleaned up after himself and left the work area just as it was. I really appreciated the fact that he explained to me in terms I could understand what he was doing, and was very friendly about it.

I had what was not necessarily an emergency situation (spraying water, flooded basement, etc), but more of an "urgent" situation (not being able to use the kitchen sink was creating an irritated spouse). It was a Saturday evening, so I searched for a company that provided "24/7" service. As I went down the list calling companies that advertised such a service, all I was getting was "We can come out on Tuesday or Wednesday" responses. However, when I called TJK, I was told that someone could be there the next morning (Sunday). A technician named Adam arrived as promised. He demonstrated the "3 P's" (Prompt, Personable, and Professional). He went right to work, and even with an additional unexpected problem, got us back up and running in a timely manner.

Your company was recommended to me by my friend of 40 years, Tim Johnson, owner of Dependable Heating who recently passed away R.I.P.. Called for an appointment on August 30th and Kyle and Josh showed up on August 31st. Described the problem, and they got right to it. They "Jetted" the floor drain and cleared a big clog, checked everything out and cleaned everything up like they were never here. Both were very personable and knowledgeable about my needs. The prices were well within my expectations. I am now the proud owner of your company sticker on my water heater, and magnetic card on the fridge! Wonderful to work with a local/home company which was my goal, and you did not disappoint. TJK Plumbing will be my go-to company in the future and thank you for the professionalism. Ron R.

The City of Maple Grove sent me a letter stating I had a slow water leak. I called TJK Plumbing Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning DJ came out to help me. He asked what the problem was and then explained what he planned to do. Did not take him long to find the slow leak. The leak was in the toilets in my 2 bathrooms. He explained to me what was causing the leak and what he needed to do to stop the leaking. I learned something very important as to what caused the valves in the toilets to have slow leaks. I have been buying Clorox toilet bowl cleaner tablets that you put in the toilet tank. DJ told me this caused the rubber valve to harden and crack. I will not be using these tablets anymore. DJ was very professional. If I need a plumber again, I will call TJK Plumbing for sure.

We called TJK Plumbing to help with an pin-hole water leak in one of our pipes. The person answering the call was very friendly and professional and scheduled an appointment with us for the next morning. The technician, David, called with a time of arrival and I received a text message as well. David arrived on time and quickly assessed our issue. He provided a few options for us to consider and then moved forward with fixing the issue for us. He explained all the steps in the process and kept us update along the way with his progress. He completed the job and cleaned up the area. He also took off his shoes when entering our home (we always appreciate this especially when we don't have to remind service people). David was a skilled, professional technician and we would recommend TJK Plumbing services.

I was able to get someone out the day after I called. Thank goodness because my kitchen sink was not draining. Every time I ran water into the sink it backed up from both drains. Kyle called and was over approximately when he said he would be. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He checked the pipes in the basement and gave me two options to fix the problem. He also quoted me prices and made his recommendation. He did not pressure me to go with the more expensive option and also noticed I had a $25 TJK Plumbing coupon on my refrigerator that I had forgotten about. When Kyle was finished, my sink drains were totally unclogged. He cleaned up the mess and explained the charges on the invoice to me. Thanks Kyle! I will definitely use TJK Plumbing again and have already recommended them to a family member.

I communicated on the phone that I had a pinhole leak in the 1" copper pipe right before the fitting on the water from the main going into the water heater. I was told on the phone that there was a $60 charge for travel. Seems reasonable. The year before I had a pinhole leak on a 3/4" pipe leading into the recirculating pump repaired by a different company for $180 . Each plumber took about 30 minutes to do the work. TJK charged nearly $500! Apparently, they told my wife that a pinhole repair is a standard $355. When I told them what was leaking during the phone conversation they didn't mention the $355 standard. Seems like the old ' let's get in the door' trick. The work was done well but look elsewhere for your plumbing needs. They are not forthright and you'll get a much better deal with someone else.

When our old water heater burst a large hole at the lower rusted seam, TJK was the plumbing service we called. It was about 8:30 am on a Saturday morning, Dec 9th, 2002. I'll never forget it. what could have been a day of horrible stress and destruction, TJK was able to save us from by getting us a excellent and competent plumber who knew what he was doing the moment he walked in. It was a difficult situation as old heater was inside a smaller closet for the heater, furnace and softener on the lower level of our town home. But Adam, figure it all out and took the time to make sure everything was complete before he left. We had a new water heater and fresh hot water by mid afternoon. I will always be grateful, and will recommend them as a company of excellence. When I called and the scheduler was so kind and assuring, I knew I had the right place, and she actually pulled us up from a prior need years ago. she had us scheduled for repair that morning. My husband and I are so happy today that they were able and ready to help us with this shocking Saturday morning surprise.

I wanted to leave a five-star review as a thank you for excellent customer service and a job well done. I managed to drill a hole in a supply line this morning while trying to hang something in our newly remodeled basement. Great job! After scrambling (and screaming for help) I managed to turn off the water to the house and stop the spray. I may be in the minority here, but having the ability to use our toilets matters deeply to us--so I was a little desperate to get someone out today so we could turn our water back on. After calling a few other plumbers and being told there was a multiple day wait, I was starting to discouraged. There was a blizzard going on outside and my hopes were fading. I called TJK, and they told me they had a plumber in the area and he could be out within a few hours. What a relief! David was here shortly after. He took his shoes off without being asked. He quoted a fair price and got the work done quickly. He used his spare time waiting for his work to set to re-hang the sheetrock patch he cut out to access the leak, making the drywall repair much easier for me. On top of all that, he was just a super nice guy who I enjoyed conversing with. It always helps when people laugh at my jokes. Thanks again. I will call TJK first the next time I screw up!

My Wife and I have used TJK Plumbing before to install a sink garbage disposal and that was a great experience. Today Brad from TJK came out to help with a pin hole pipe leak on our copper piping that brings in the city water supply. Maple Grove water is very hard and this is the second time we have had the same piping our builder did that sprung a pin hole leak. The builder also had the shutoff valves on the back side of the piping and against the laundry room wall. That made it hard to get to so Brad redid it and placed the new shutoff valve on the front for easy access. He made some other great suggestions on the configuration to help prevent further leaks. After that I mentioned I would like to have him come out and replace our two inside shutoff valves to our outside garden hose valves, (spigots). He said he had the time so he took care of that too. Again he made suggestions on the replacement of the old shutoff handles to lever shutoff and by re-positioning them farther into the laundry room for much easier access for us. Again our builder placed them right up against the outside wall in a place that was hard to get to. Well, I thought we were done until my wife complained about how hard it was to turn on the water handle for our shower. He said it was a Moen brand just looking at it from a distance! He had a new valve in his truck and had that replaced in 20 minutes. He had this really nice van with everything he needed in it. He never had to run to Menard's once. This company and Brad are GREAT. He called ahead and was on time. Great guy to work with. Norm D
