I messed up big time and almost lost my provisional patent. I was so close to the expiration date and I didn't even realize it until it was almost too late. I was freaking out and didn't know what to do. Luckily, I remembered an email that Tien from Thoughts to Paper had sent me a few months ago. I decided to reach out to him and see if there was anything that could be done.

Tien was so helpful and understanding. He explained to me that a PCT application could help me retain my provisional patent date and even give me an additional eight months before I had to file my non-provisional application. However, he also told me that a PCT application typically takes 6-9 weeks to complete. I didn't have that kind of time.

But Tien didn't give up on me. He told me that they would do everything in their power to complete the PCT in a little over a week. I was cautiously optimistic when I authorized them to prepare the PCT application. I didn't want to get my hopes up too high, but I also didn't want to lose my patent.

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed when the company I had originally chosen to submit my first provisional patent closed their doors and left me high and dry. But then I found Thoughts to Paper and I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed. I talked to three different companies before choosing them, and I gotta say, I really liked the way everyone spoke to me. Tien Le was the one who greeted me at the front door and Upul took over my project. They were both super helpful and really seemed to care about my project.

Now, I know time was not on their side. But they managed to get everything done in just four weeks, which is pretty impressive if you ask me. And let me tell you, my application is looking pretty darn good. I'm really happy with the way everything turned out. And I gotta say, everyone I talked to at Thoughts to Paper was just so darn nice. I gotta say, I got some real top-notch service from Thoughts to Paper when it came to filing our reply to the USPTO agent. Tim Bright and his boy Henry Yuen really held it down for us. They put together a response and then coached me on how to talk to the agent when we met up. They even wrote out a whole list of possible questions and answers and ran through them with me beforehand. They made sure everything was coordinated with the agent's schedule and mine, and they even cut the call short when she was satisfied, 'cause I told 'em I might not be able to stop myself from talking too much.

And let me tell you, these guys were on top of it. They had the complete response back to me within six hours, and they were always prompt with their responses, even when I was lagging behind. They worked overtime, on weekends, and at odd hours, always patient and never taking shortcuts or doing anything shady. They were real pros, and they had some serious ethical values.

I gotta give a big shoutout to Tim, 'cause he really killed it. He led the team like a boss, and Henry was right there with him, holding it down. These guys provided some real value, and they were worth every penny. Thanks, Tim, for doing such a phenomenal job, and thanks to your whole team for being such stand-up guys.

I've been working with Thoughts to Paper for 4 years now, and I have to say, I'm not impressed. They seem to be more interested in nickel and diming their clients than providing quality service. When I first hired them to do a patent search, they promised it would be done in 5-8 days. But after 2 weeks, I had to check in with them, and even then, it took another week before I received the report. And to make matters worse, the "Patent Engineer" they assigned to my case didn't seem to know what he was doing. He grabbed the first 3 patents he could find with basic search terms from my invention, none of which even closely related, and he contradicted himself in his own report. Needless to say, the WIPO and USPTO examiners found multiple similar prior arts, and there was zero overlap with TTP.

But that was just the beginning. I paid $449 for the provisional patent, and a year later, another $3k for a PCT. And yet, when the review came back, Claim #1 described NOTHING original in my invention. I was shocked to learn that Claim #1 HAS to pass the requirements or the entire patent is rejected. I had assumed that a "professional" firm like TTP would know these things, but apparently not. And when I paid them to file the USPTO Utility patent, they rearranged a few claims and submitted it, charging me another $2500 for what I had already paid $3000 for them to do. And when I asked for an update, they ignored me for 4 months before rushing me a draft in a day.

But the worst part was yet to come. When the patent examiner missed the amendments, they charged me a $750 retainer to call/email the examiner. And when the patent was finally approved, they charged me ANOTHER $595 to file the Allowance Fee, even though it was a 1-page form already 90% filled in by the USPTO. And when I asked their Online Chat about it, they claimed that the $3k fee covered all services to receive a granted patent, which was pure lies.

And to top it all off, they were completely disorganized and incompetent. My patent had been sitting in their mailroom for weeks, instead of being mailed to me. And when I talked to their paralegals, they couldn't even agree on whether clients receive physical mail or not.

All in all, I would not recommend Thoughts to Paper to anyone. They are more interested in making money than providing quality service, and their incompetence is infuriating.

So, I recently used Thoughts to Paper for some drawings I needed done. It took them about a week to get the basic sketches done, which was a bit longer than I was hoping for. And when I finally got the drawings, I was pretty disappointed. They didn't look very professional at all. I mean, they were just basic elementary level drawings. I was really hoping for something a bit more polished and refined.

But the worst part was the product description. It was just terrible. I mean, it was full of errors and typos. It really made me question the quality of their work. I don't think I would use them again, to be honest. I just don't think it's worth the time and effort to work with them. I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere if you need some drawings done.

See, when you first go to their website, it seems like they're offering a pretty affordable service. But then when you get into the nitty-gritty of things, you realize that a "Consultation With A Patent Practitioner" is gonna set you back a whopping $250 per hour. And they bill you for that right away, no questions asked.

Now, I'm no math whiz, but I'm pretty sure that kind of hourly rate is gonna add up real quick. And it's not like they're advertising that cost front and center - you really have to dig to find that information. So I gotta dock 'em a star for that.

All in all, I'd say that Thoughts to Paper is a solid option if you've got some serious cash to burn. But if you're on a budget, you might want to look elsewhere.

So, I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with Thoughts to Paper. I talked to this guy named Hadison on the phone, and he was just plain rude to me. All I wanted was for him to send some files of my design to one of my vendors, but he wouldn't do it. And on top of that, he was just plain unpleasant to talk to.

Honestly, I don't think their marketing plan is worth the money. It just doesn't seem like they're putting in the effort to make it worth it. And don't even get me started on their provisional patent app. It's way too expensive for what it is.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend Thoughts to Paper. They just don't seem to care about their customers, and that's not the kind of company I want to do business with.

ThoughtsToPaper helped me with my Patent Pending for a few years now, but I have to say, they've made some mistakes along the way. They re-filed my patent without any issues for the first couple of years, but then suddenly they said I needed to make significant changes to my product in order to re-file. I'm not sure why they didn't mention this before, but they still charged me for the re-filing and I never heard back from them about whether it was accepted or denied.

I've also had some issues with their communication. There were a few times where they dropped the ball and didn't follow up with me when they said they would. And then there was the time when they tried to get me to renew my patent several months early by mistake. It was frustrating, but I eventually got it sorted out.

Overall, I think ThoughtsToPaper is a decent option if you need help with your patent, but just be aware that they may make mistakes and their communication isn't always the best.

I gotta say, I had a pretty mixed experience with Thoughts to Paper. When I was spending money with them, they were super nice and helpful. But as soon as I told them I wasn't gonna pursue my provisional patent, they got real rude real quick. My rep, Hadison, was not very helpful at all.

I asked him to email a vendor of mine, which he had done before, but he straight up told me he couldn't email over the CAD files. I mean, come on, that's just plain rude. And when I talked to him on the phone, he wasn't very nice either.

And don't even get me started on the CAD files they sent over. They were impossible to open for the average person, and it was such a hassle to get them to send me a file that I could actually open.

Overall, I'm not too happy with my experience with Thoughts to Paper. They were nice when I was spending money with them, but as soon as I wasn't, they were rude and unhelpful.
