Publishing services of the urban book publishers

I entered into three agreements with The Urban Book Publishers in the summer of 2023, outlining the following services:

1. Book Editing and Publishing: This contract has been successfully fulfilled.

2. Marketing Services for the Guaranteed

Sale of 17,000 Copies:

The marketing efforts have been significantly subpar. Communication, predominantly AI-generated, lacks quality. Articles and blogs has the same issue. There's been poor responsiveness to my inquiries, and progress is non-existent. They are not able even read my book and understand what is written. In our of their article they portrayed me as a men and my co-author and a women from different backgrounds.

It has been 7 month and not single book sold!

2. B&N Order for 3,000 Copies:

They claimed B&N ordered 3,000 copies for delivery to 10 locations. I paid full cost of the books printing. They were keep dragging me with the delivery timelines over 5 months. Finally they replied that my books has been delivered to B&N warehouse and would be on sale from Jan 1, 2023. I asked for a proof of delivery.

However, the agreement provided lacks essential details, such as the signatory name and position and contract specifics with B&N. This raises concerns about the authenticity of the agreement and that books really was delivered.

The overall communication and progress have been unsatisfactory, prompting doubts about the legitimacy of certain claims and agreements. Am planing to file reimbursement with my bank insurance.

Would never recommend this publisher anyone!
