We want to thank ***. and Fulton Books for the publishing of my deceased fathers book from the very beginning to the end. We could not have accomplished this undertaking without the help of ***. She was absolutely wonderful to work with. She always answered our questions whenever we called or emailed, right away. She explained each step for us professionally and in a way, making each step easy for us to understand. It was a book that went from a vintage typewritten manuscript with detailed hand drawn maps, to a beautifully transcribed piece of work without losing any of my fathers originality in the process. The Fulton team made all the changes we requested to our exact liking. Most of these were due to a Military way of naming of units, divisions, battalions, ranks etc throughout the book. We cannot say enough, about how wonderful, Fulton Books and ***, our Publishing ***, were to work with. Thank you, ***!

Fulton Books and my assigned publishing coordinator, Megan M were very professional and customer service oriented with me as their client. I have never published a novel before, so it was important to work with folks that walk you through each step of the process and understand to ask the right questions to first time publishers that I was not aware of, but important to the process. The professionals at Fulton Books do this. My type set and customized graphics for my book cover are both amazing! My novel looks very professionally done. It made me proud to present my first book to my friends and family. In fact I had the graphics for the cover blown up in high resolution and made a nice framed poster for my office. These are nice people and easy to work with as well. I am hoping to start work on a second book in the fall. I look forward to giving Megan a call in the spring of 2021 when I am done with the new project. I would highly recommend Fulton Books!

Megan has been absolutely amazing during this process. Not to mention, being amazing while having to navigate through the new terrain of COVID-19. She helped guide me step by step, even giving me motivational boosts when I was in question about selling my book. Though she has many clients, Megan was always responsive and followed up in a reasonable amount of time. The longest and most challenging times were during the copy editing, even here she maintained patience and outstanding professionalism with ongoing corrections and/or recommendations. Whenever I became antsy, she would calm my fears and talk me through the process. You can tell she's seasoned in this industry because her problem solving skills are superb. Publishing a book isn't easy, but her guidance and presence makes it very tolerable. Having Megan through this process has been a Godsend. I would just like to see Fulton get a stronger education division to compete with a trading press and target academia.

I am not sure that without Fulton Books that my avant garde novel would even be published. It came with my own style manual, Ars Soliloquy. Of course, Fulton Books recommended the Chicago Style Manual, but eventually complied with my Ars Soliloquy, which permits streaming of consciousness reading. Fulton Books did a fine job in all working with a style completely unfamiliar to them. This is why I give them high marks for the professionalism they demonstrated. The excellent professionalism I experienced was through the coordinator assigned to me, ***. Throughout all the pitches and throws of developing my avant garde work for publication, *** was at the helm of that what seemed like a little skiff we were on, which I became completely reliant upon. She encouraged me when I needed it, and expedited the work when it was necessary. I feel I was very lucky to get her to guide me through the process of preparing my work for publication. It reflects well on Fulton Books to hire such professionals for their business.

When I made the decision to submit my book to a publisher, I had to decide which one. I began searching on line and found Fulton Books. After praying I was making the right choice, I gave them a call. I did make the right choice. My first impression was wow, that was quick. They called me back right away. My first contact was with Ali B. She walked me through the process, answering my mountain of questions and guiding me through all the preliminary paper work. She was amazing. After Ali helped me through all of that, I was sent over to Megan M. I could not have asked for anyone more patient and fun to work with as she helped me through all the steps from editing my story to creating the illustrations, and putting it all together into a book that I am very excited about. My story came to life because of the talented team that created the illustrations for my book. Thank you so much for your dedication and hard work. To all of those wonderful people at Fulton Books that made it possible to get my book published, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The Publishing assistant I worked with was real good with explaining and providing information and processes that were taking place. I was thrilled with using Fulton's books during the process of publishing my first book. Here is where the shenanigan begins:I'm writing a trilogy and they agreed to drop money off book 2 and an additional on book 3. Once it came time to review contract for book 2, they intentionally omitted promotion/marketing tools that were offered on the first contract. They also provided less copies of the finished book than what was offered on the first contract. You can guess it! The amount of items omitted for the second contract was around the same amount they were going to discount. That is used car tricks from the days of old. I confronted them about the dubious approach and they just said that they have promotions that don't always last, which is why the subterfuge took place. As much as I love the assistant I worked with. She unfortunately works with a publishing version of the mafia.I would not recommend Fulton books...Stay away!"

Everything from the very beginning of the process until the very end has been phenomenal. I had no idea how any of it worked and now I feel so professional. :) I really appreciated everything that was done was only done with my approval. That certainly made me feel like a big part of this project. I appreciated how everyone was so kind and patient and willing to work with me on this. This felt very family-oriented which made the whole thing a lot easier too. I didn't know what to expect, my book was my little creation and I wanted the best for it. I certainly found that with Fulton books. Thank you guys so much! I really can't believe I actually have a book now! It was all possible because of your amazing team. I wish you all the very best! I retired during the first weeks of the covid-19 pandemic. I was also in the final phase of completing a memoir: The ***. I decided that as my first post-retirement project, I would try to find a publisher for this memoir. I found Fulton Books, and today, a year later, I hold my book in my hand, and I am still in disbelief. It wasn't an easy process, and it would have been impossible without the constant presence in my life of ***, my publication assistant, and benevolent guide. Through email and phone calls, he was at my side throughout all the mini-crises that authors know so well. He patiently explained to me each step of the complicated process from editing to page design to cover design to marketing, and with his patience and steady support he gave me the feeling that I was his only client. There were several moments when I panicked, and without fail, he would be answering the phone, or call me back within minutes, or send an email to explain, encourage and reassure. Thanks to Fulton, I have had an extremely rich learning experience during these dark times, and I appreciate the opportunity to express my thanks.

editing, production and its comprehensive nature was performed excellently by Fulton Books. While personnel hide in the shadows, I guess they are mostly available by phone only. As advisor, editor, production, printing I cannot complain. ***y readily reprint copies that I pay for and mail them to me. *** marketing process: Got a nice streaming commercial and website out of it., *** press release process; I wrote it, someone put their name, as far as I can tell only one media outlet did a piece on the book, I don't know how many were sent out or what I should do. But basically, one has to promote it themselves, ***y provide the tools. *** book is coming up on a year in publication. I only have a PDF sale report from January to June . To date I have had no contact, statement and payment for books sold throughout the marketplace. Tonight this missing contact occured to me. I got online, and got limited information. But the creepy part of it is that this seems to be the only way I can communicate via email with the company, No email addresses that I could find. Just call the 800 number, no record of your business correspondence. By the way, Just top of my brain thinking with sincere desire to improve the service.

This was my first attempt at writing a book. In my search for a publisher, I spoke with several people. *** was the person who sold me on Fulton Books. she gave me an honest opinion and what I needed to do and after a few conversations I decided to go with the Fulton Company. I must say that my fist assistant editor did not infuse a lot of confidence in me. I felt she liked communication qualities. In the last phases of the publishing process, I found once again the reasons for signing with Fulton. *** was my new assistant editor and she magically restored in me the joy and pleasure the made me undertake this project. I found her to be a great representative of Fulton Books. Extremely pleasant, she displayed outstanding professionalism and gave me a sense of accomplishment by renewing the confidence I had in starting. I believe that this person has a great way with providing suggestions. she always made me feel that we collaborated in any changes I made. needless to say, I will have my book published and in my hands 4-8 weeks from now. Fulton has provide me with a great experience, especially thanks to *** and ***. I feel so good about this project that I am thinking about writing another book. Thank you Fulton Books!

To the Fulton Books Team - As a recent addition to your author's roster, let me say that so far my experience with Fulton books has been top-notch. Currently I have two novels in process - ***, and I have been extremely pleased with your staff's professionalism, courtesy, promptness and kindness. I shopped around to several companies, who were offering publishing services, and Ian B impressed me so much by his sincerity and clarity of approach. Ian was the reason I chose Fulton. Ian turned me over to Karlee *** and she has been superb in all ways. Of course, my manuscripts are still in the editing phases, but Karlee has overseen this early process of the publishing work with great patience and understanding. Detail work is critical in producing a quality product, and so far I have been impressed by your team. They seem devoted to the particularities, grammatical and syntax accuracy, and this spells success. I look forward to the ensuing stages of my publication experience. Thanks for organizing such a fine staff and coordinating their services so well. This means a tremendous amount to me, and I feel confident I have the right team behind me to produce and market my fiction. All this, plus the Steelers are 9-0! Do not and I repeat DO NOT work with fulton books! Trust me, self publishing is easier and faster. Fulton Books will scam you out of everything and make you wait months for something that they will never publish. I signed on to be with Fulton books last March . In the beginning of Jan. 2022 my book was still not done and they told me multiple times that it would be done by mid. Nov. to mid Dec. It was not done in Nov. Or Dec. Or even Jan. and when I called in the beginning of Jan. it was probably not going to come out until Feb. I was furious! That's ridiculous, I'm not waiting my life for them to publish my book so I cancled my service. Not to mention all the different scams that I have been put through in this whole ordeal and in case anyone was wondering, unless you're making a children's book for kindergarten you WILL have to make your own cover and spend hundreds of dollars getting a person to custom design a cover for you and you will NOT get reimbursed, even though their contract says they will make one for you. They do this to trick you because they "have cover temple's for you" but they are laughable and absolutely unacceptable for anything that is YA or adult. Those covers would be good for K-first grade. Also, you will have to pay for a hard back option. As in the entire option to get your book in hard back is different than a hard copy. That's a 300 dollar fee that they spring on you later. The most laughable thing about this company is the fact that they try to publish your book with the most ridiculous prices that absolutely nobody would ever buy and I have done my research on multiple different companies and self published companies and it is nowhere near as high. They tried to tell me that my paperback *** would be 29.99 and my hardback would be 39.99. My book is now out because I did it myself. Watch tutorials. Save money, self-publish. Sure these people are nice, but I came here to get a book published, not make friends.

My contract for my book titled "For a pun time call Smitty" ISBN [protected] published by Fulton Books was terminated by me. I was researching on Amazon and discovered that my book listing Fulton Books as the publisher is still for sale on Amazon.com as well as other book sites. I even attempted to purchase this title and it allowed me to add to my cart for checkout.

This book under this ISBN needs to NOT be available anymore on ANY site!

Please correct this asap.

I signed a contract with Fulton Books to publish my book. I gave them a downpayment and a monthly fee which totalled $1100. They promised me it would be ready by January. Then they pushed it back to April. Now the phone number of the representative they gave me no longer works and they will not answer e-mails. When I checked, a little too late, regarding their address on-line, it shows that it is a yoga studio and not Fulton Books at all. The ComplaintsBoard.com has rave reviews about this company. I was scammed. It appears that you were too.

I began working with Fulton on May 28th when I signed a contract for them to publish my book. I have paid $1150 of the $3850 I promised to pay. In return, they promised good communication every step of the way, and that they would meet all of my standards. They also assured me that my book would be read when edited and not auto-checked. I received very few emails in regards to progress and only after I first contacted them. Once the initial edit was finished, it was obvious that they either have an inadequate editing team or they ran it through an auto-correct program as they made several basic, glaring errors within just the first few pages. When I asked them to send it in again, they denied my request, saying that I needed to write down all I wanted fixed so they could fix it. They refuse to call me or answer my calls, hiding behind repetitive emails. So far, they have not honored my request to terminate contract and get my money back though they have not upheld their promises.
