I just purchased Marriott Vacation Club destination points from The Timeshare Group. My experience with them was outstanding. Previously, I had only purchased points or weeks directly from MVC, so this was my first experience buying from anyone else. John and the team made the whole process super easy, and answered my questions as we went. So I had no problems at all in working through it and completing the transaction. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone interested in buying or selling time shares.

We purchased a Hilton Grand Vacations property through this company. As I was a little skeptical about not buying directly for Hilton at first, after seeing the Timeshare Group's reviews online I felt confident to do it. John Smith was extremely informative, answered all of my questions and walked me through the process. He always answered the phone and replied to all e-mails in a very prompt matter. Told us the paperwork with Hilton for the transfer could take 45 days or so and it ended up being like 20 days. I highly recommend this company for your future purchases.

Just confirmed final transfer on a 1000 points purchased through the Time Share Group, LLC. John Hamlet, our sales rep was fabulous, and followed us through the entire process, and all was processed ahead of his original schedule.
We also just purchased additional points on a separate transaction, that is moving very smoothly as well
I would do business with them/ him again and would certainly recommend to anyone, their assistance in any sale and/ or purchase. As I have had some very poor experiences in the past with others in this field, I speak from some knowledge myself.

Bought a timeshare twice off their website, from "The Timeshare Group, LLC"
I had zero problems from this company. That said, there was a slight delay issue with the timeshare company with mailing documents incorrectly. BUT it was quickly resolved with "The Timeshare Group" on top if it. So it was quickly resolved. In addition, I was given all the information I needed to follow up myself with the timeshare company! Despite this minor "hiccup" that was not their fault, I was never concerned. Great communication all the way.

What I bought and got was exactly as described. Smooth transactions!

I purchased Marriott Destination points through The Timeshare Group LLC. In the beginning I was not sure if they are legit, because their price was really good. I checked ComplaintsBoard.com site found they have really good review and I felt more comfortable to work with them. The escrow closed in about two months. They delivered what they promised. During the process, John Smith, Jomari Johnson and Thomas Ochoa kept me posted all the way. I was very pleased with the professionalism of this company. I am a Hyatt owner and purchased a timeshare for my son as a college graduation present. I found them to both helpful and efficient. Rest assured that this company is legitimate and does what they say. I would certainly buy another timeshare from this company. Just to clarify since I have owned a Hyatt for many, many years. Timeshare points can be confusing as points are always given in advance for the following year, and so you will usually need to pay the maintenance fees for those points that have already been issued at closing. Hope that helps some understand it.

I had heard numerous horror stories of deals gone bad on eBay, read reviews on The Timeshare Group, LLC and, based on those reviews, I gained the comfort to bid and win the auction. Immediately upon my win of the auction I was contacted by John Hamlet of The Timeshare Group, LLC. They have a well oiled machine over there, communication was superb, and he responded to all of my questions. His assistant, Jomari Smith, was equally exceptional and responsive. They kept me well informed of the status and they kept the transaction moving forward. We closed without a hitch. I strongly recommend working with The Timeshare Group, LLC.

After that I dealt with Jomari Smith whom was very helpful and responsive to my inquiries. The only problems that I had in this transaction came from my personal bank not sending a money wire correctly, and the US Post Office taking 2 weeks to deliver a Priority Express that was suppose to take 2 days. Even with these outside problems Jomari Smith was very patient and helpful in completing the sales transaction. I would use this company again, and recommend it to others whom are interested in buying a timeshare or timeshare points.

We were delighted to find the Nanea Unit we wanted offered for a fair price. In ordinary times, we would have been skeptical about all these at distance contact and the transaction details. Covid restrictions made it seem even more onerous. Not buying directly from the resort was another unknown. In fact, the TIMESHARE-GROUP explained everything clearly, made the preparations easy, worked through the Resort's "First Right of Refusal" and ... we are owners. I expected the financial transfers to be concerning, but they had several options and all was both easy ( as spending can be) and never felt risky. We dealt with several of the staff and the boss, All were pleasant, capable and promptly helpful. They got my five stars and I am picky! Good luck!

We have purchased Wyndham timeshares several times from The Timeshare Group, all honest and as promised, there were no problems. This most recent one was registered with Wyndham much faster - within 2 months. John Smith was very responsive with any question I had, answered as quickly as could be expected, if not immediately. That is fantastic in my book!
On any ad for a timeshare is a list of all charges. There are no surprises.
It is to be expected, that the charges can change over time, just as everything else gets more expensive.
We see owning a timeshare means vacations in favorite places are prepaid in monthly installments. By checking the same resorts without being a timeshare member will cost a whole lot more.
Especially in times of Covid, we appreciate being in an apartment by ourselves.

I am so pleased with John Smith and my bargains on The Timeshare Group for Marriott timeshares. I have purchased at least six from this company over the last 10 years, many of them over the last four months, and when anything is delayed, it's not his company's fault, it's always the fault of Marriott for slowly transferring these already-deeded weeks into our names.

I cannot say enough good about this seller. He is always so great at communication. The prices on The Timeshare Group are amazing for great timeshares that are extremely valuable to me. I would have to pay $50-60,000 for these weeks that I buy on The Timeshare Group for $4,000-$5,000 including closing costs.

I have never had a single issue with anything I have purchased from John Smith, who is highly recommended on The Timeshare Group. Look him up and get a great deal on a very valuable timeshare. I do not know why people get rid of perfectly good timeshares, but they do, and you can get them for so much less than retail. Same timeshare, but low price. Why buy from Marriott directly? I see no reason.

I was able to sell my timeshare through the company at a very low rate, but that was not the problem. When I inquired about payment and provided all the banking details, I was given evasive answers about how I was going to get paid. I was told that the bank info provided was incorrect and they would not attempt again, unless I paid for their employee to go back to the bank and try again. I found this request unreasonable, as I had confirmed my account and routing number and there was no issue. Perhaps the teller made a mistake. Then, Thomas [Last Name] (who claimed to be the owner) began to use offensive language and curse at me on the phone. He accused me of treating him like an idiot, even though I had never made such a comment. I asked if this was how they treated all customers, and he responded that it was only when they treated him like an idiot. I mentioned that I would inform the company about his behavior, to which he replied that he was the company. As he continued to yell obscenities and talk over me, he boasted about his experience of having done 30,000 transactions and claimed to know how things should be done. While I believe his experience, I did not deviate from the standard procedure followed by others, so he should have known how to handle it correctly.
If you enjoy being treated poorly and having someone curse at you on the phone, while paying very low prices from which they profit greatly, then this is the company for you.
