The Pep Boys review: Customer service / lack of empathy / disrespect

Im writing a formal complaint against the mechanic (Jamie B.) I took my Ford F150 pickup to the location on Warwick Blvd, Newport News, VA, Store# 0085, on November 1,2022, at : 5:00pm. I purchased 4 tires for installantion and had advised the store associate that I wanted to keep my left front tire for a spare once it was removed. I had just purchased that used tire for 60.00 on Saturday. The store associate wrote that I wanted to keep the tire, on the ticket before the service started. The service was completed and I had asked the the store associate, which was the assistant manager, about the tire and she went to ask the mechanic (Jamie) and immediately got disrespectul and disssmive, stating it was placed in the ben for disposal, then he continued to just walk off and would not listen to anything she had to say. He then proceded to take my vehicle off the bay and parked around the front for pickup. When he walked through the front lobby where I was standing with the assistant manager, I asked him about the tire and she was trying to talk to him as well, Jamie just ignored both of us and continued walking to the back area. The manager came out and I made a complaint about the incident to him as well. The way the economy is and how hard it is to get someone to patron you establishment with so many other competitors around, you really should have your employees be more respectful and show empathy when something happens. He could have easily apologized for the mishap, instead of causing a scene and making me feel as though I should not have spent my $426.00 there today. I am very upset about the situation. Its really not about the tire, its about the disrespect and dismissie behavior. The manager apologized and showed empathy to the situation and tried to resolve as best as he could.
