The Cosmopolitan Mixed Experience at The Cosmopolitan: Trendy Vibes, Stunning Pool, Slow Service

during my entire stay, causing water to pool in the bathroom. It was quite frustrating, to say the least.

Aside from the initial room mishap, the overall experience at The Cosmopolitan was decent. The hotel itself has a modern and trendy vibe, which I appreciated. The lobby area was bustling with people, and there were plenty of dining options to choose from.

One thing that stood out to me was the rooftop pool. The view from up there was absolutely stunning, and it was a great spot to relax and soak up the sun. However, the pool area was quite crowded, and finding a lounge chair was a bit of a challenge. It would have been nice if there were more seating options available.

In terms of dining, I had a few meals at the hotel's restaurants. The food was tasty, but the service was a bit slow. It seemed like the staff was overwhelmed with the number of guests, which resulted in longer wait times. Nevertheless, the meals themselves were enjoyable, and I appreciated the variety of cuisines offered.

The casino at The Cosmopolitan was also a highlight. It had a lively atmosphere, and there were plenty of games to choose from. I had a bit of luck at the slot machines, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Overall, my stay at The Cosmopolitan had its ups and downs. The initial room issue and the unhelpful staff left a sour taste in my mouth, but the hotel's amenities and ambiance made up for it to some extent. If you're looking for a trendy and lively hotel in Las Vegas, The Cosmopolitan might be worth considering. Just be prepared for the possibility of some hiccups along the way.

The Cosmopolitan Nightmare Experience at The Cosmopolitan: Unjust Detention, Rude Security, and Disrespectful Treatment

I gotta tell ya, my experience at The Cosmopolitan was a total nightmare. I mean, seriously, I was just asking some innocent questions and next thing I know, I'm getting handcuffed and detained! Can you believe it? They knocked me right to the ground, and all I wanted to do was leave. I was literally just 5 feet away from the door, but nope, they had to hold me there for over 3 hours. Can you imagine?

Now, let's talk about the security. Rude is an understatement. These guys never bothered to tell me why they were treating me like a criminal, except for throwing around the word "trespassing." Like, come on, give me a break! And to make matters worse, they were taking my daughters away with these big, intimidating men. I was freaking out, man! You hear all these stories about trafficking in Vegas, and I had no clue who these guys were or what they wanted with my girls. It was a nightmare!

But here's the thing, right? These security guards never once tried to talk to us calmly or reasonably. They just made the situation worse. I mean, we dropped over $4000 at this place, and this is how they treat us? No way, Jose! I'm never setting foot in that joint again. I'd rather take my hard-earned cash somewhere else and actually be treated with some respect. You feel me?

And let's not forget about the whole Covid-19 situation. These security guards, man, they thought they were the kings of the world with their newfound authority. Well, let me tell you something, I hope their own kids get treated like this someday. Maybe then they'll understand how messed up it is to treat people like garbage.

So, yeah, you won't catch me at The Cosmopolitan ever again. I'll take my money and my sanity elsewhere, thank you very much.

The Cosmopolitan Disappointing Experience: Unprofessional Staff Ruined Our Visit to The Cosmopolitan

I gotta say, The Cosmopolitan used to be my absolute favorite hotel, but today, when we went there to gamble, things took a turn for the worse. My wife and I were playing this fancy automated roulette game, and I pulled my mask down for a sec to talk to her 'cause she couldn't hear me. Well, wouldn't you know it, this fancy-pants slot machine attendant comes over and tells me to put my mask back on. Now, normally, I wouldn't have a problem with that, but this guy, he starts shaking his head at me like I'm some kind of rule-breaker. Can you believe it?

So, my wife, bless her heart, she notices that this dude is still looking at us and shaking his head. She points him out to me, and wouldn't you know it, he comes right over to where we're sitting. By this time, we both had drinks, and my wife was sipping on hers. And what does this guy do? He starts yelling at her, telling her she needs to put her mask on even though she's just taking a sip. I mean, seriously, who does he think he is? Acting like a complete fool, if you ask me.

Well, we weren't gonna let this slide. We went and talked to the manager, and you know what she did? She tried to make excuses for this guy! Can you believe that? It wasn't until we told her how disappointed we were with the hotel and that we were gonna leave that she finally admitted he was in the wrong. But by then, it was too late. We had already made up our minds.

Let me tell you, we will never, ever stay at this hotel again. The way they handled this situation was just plain unacceptable. It's a shame, really, 'cause I used to love this place. But now, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Trust me, folks, there are plenty of other hotels in Vegas that treat their guests with respect. Don't waste your time or money on The Cosmopolitan.

The Cosmopolitan Unpleasant Encounter with Staff at The Cosmopolitan: A Disappointing Stay

On October 30, 2022, at 6am, I found myself in the Chelsea tower side, second floor of The Cosmopolitan. Feeling exhausted from my long journey, I decided to take a quick nap on the sofa near the restroom. Little did I know that this innocent act would lead to an unpleasant encounter.

Out of nowhere, a staff member approached me accompanied by two security personnel. Their tone was harsh as they demanded that I "get up and leave." They even went as far as to threaten me, stating that if they caught me sleeping again, I would be kicked out. As a paying guest who was scheduled to check in at 11 am, I was taken aback by their treatment.

Prior to my nap, I had spent three hours playing table games and unfortunately lost three thousand dollars. All I wanted was a moment of rest, but instead, I was treated like a homeless person. The staff member seemed to view me as a threat, immediately bringing two security guards with him when he approached me. It's worth noting that I was dressed decently and carried a college student backpack.

Rather than politely informing me that sleeping on the sofa was not allowed, he chose to use intimidation tactics. It would have been more appropriate for him to kindly remind me of the hotel's policy. I have been a loyal customer of The Cosmopolitan, frequently visiting to gamble. However, this experience has left me deeply disappointed with the way I was treated.

The staff member's behavior was reminiscent of a scared little girl, hastily calling for backup upon our first interaction. It is clear that the hotel should invest in better employee training and take action against impolite staff members. If they truly care about their guests' experiences, they should review the security camera footage to identify the individual responsible for this incident.

In light of this unpleasant stay, I feel compelled to share my experience on various platforms. It is my hope that by doing so, the hotel will take notice and address the issues at hand. As a loyal customer, I believe it is important to hold establishments accountable for their treatment of guests.

The Cosmopolitan Unfair Ban and Poor Customer Service: Resort Bans Guests for Legitimate Complaints

I got this notice of ban/trespass from the resort on 10/27 'cause of some "incidents" they say I was involved in. But let me tell ya, those incidents were just legit complaints I made 'bout two stays I had there before. Before I got this notice, I got a text from Jessica Ragin tellin' me to give her a call before bookin' my next stay. She mentioned somethin' 'bout a room upgrade she offered me in an email a few months back. But then, outta nowhere, she turned 'round and got me banned from the resort. I reckon it's 'cause I went over her head and complained to a higher-up 'bout gettin' a refund for them resort fees. And let me tell ya, my complaints were all legit. They were 'bout cleanliness issues and technical problems.

My first stay was back in March of 2017, and lemme tell ya, it wasn't all peachy. I found some partially eaten food in the fridge, and them two bottom drawers were all dirty. And to top it off, there was this big ol' stain on the carpet leadin' into the kitchen. And don't even get me started on the technical problems. The dang phone kept cuttin' out durin' calls, even though they replaced the battery. And them hotel staff kept walkin' into my room without even knockin'. I felt like I was bein' harassed over some small movement of items in the mini bar.

Now, my second stay was a tad better, but still had its fair share of issues. They gave me this mini cooler to store my food and drinks, but it wasn't even enough and had this strong sour smell to it. And guess what? They didn't even provide a microwave for us to use. Can ya believe that? And to top it all off, the toilet in the bathroom didn't even flush right, so we had to use the guest bathroom. And when we moved the sofa into place, we found crumbs and dirt underneath it. It was like the cleanin' staff just moved it to cover up the mess.

But here's the real kicker, folks. If ya dare complain 'bout anythin' at this resort, they'll go ahead and ban ya. Can ya believe that? It's like they don't wanna hear nothin' 'bout their problems and just wanna sweep 'em under the rug. So, watch out if ya plan on complainin' 'bout this place, 'cause they'll kick ya out faster than ya can say "Cosmopolitan."

The Cosmopolitan Disappointing Stay: Beautiful Hotel on the Surface, but Major Concerns with Staff, Cleanliness, and Billing Practices

We stayed here for our wedding back in June, 2017, along with several other family members. The hotel itself is ultra modern and beautiful on the surface, but some of the staff came across as disinterested, there were some major concerns with the cleanliness in three of our rooms and we were shocked when it came time to check out at their billing practices.

Upon checkin, my fiance had arranged to have a trail of rose petals and a bouquet of flowers added to the room as a surprise. It was beautiful. However, the real surprise came the next day when we returned after the maid had been in and the now dried and crushed rose petals remained all over the floor. We were even more surprised the following day, our wedding day, when the maids had still not come in to clean by 2 p.m. and I had to start getting ready for the wedding. The floor was still covered in the rose petals which were now a major problem. We actually had to go find a maid to clean the room. Then, I had hired a mobile beautician to help with hair and makeup, and while sitting downstairs with family at one of the lounges, I received a call from the beautician telling me she was waiting for me in my room. I asked how she got in there and she said the maid had let her in. What!?

My daughter and her partner found two used condoms in their room, one of which was right on the nightstand and should have been quite visible. The other was in the shower shelf. The maids came in three more days and still never removed them!

My mom said the shower windows in her room were quite filthy and looked like they had never been cleaned as well.

Since we were staying for five days, we decided that we would want to get some of our own refreshments for the room since hotels usually charge so much for the bar fridge items. So we emptied the bar fridge and put everything up on the counter in order to make room for our items. Upon checkout, we found that the hotel had charged us for every single item in the fridge for five days! We were shocked and explained that we hadn't used any of those items so we were not going to pay for them. The girl reluctantly removed them from the invoice but not before giving us a lecture about removing items from the bar fridge. We were told in future just let them know and they would remove the fridge entirely from our room. How does that help?

The Cosmopolitan is a beautiful hotel on the surface, but underneath it is quite distasteful and expensive enough that we have decided that will be our last stay at this hotel. It lacks class.

The Cosmopolitan Disappointing Stay at The Cosmopolitan: Cleanliness and Technical Issues Persist, Unresolved Complaints

The renovated room at The Cosmopolitan is a nice change, but I have to say, the appliances are just not up to par and the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Let me tell you about my experience.

First of all, the refrigerator they provided for food and beverage storage is the same size as the minibar refrigerator. It's so small that it's impossible to store both food and beverages in there. I had to request a microwave because there wasn't one supplied in the room. It's a basic necessity, really.

But here's where things get a little frustrating. When I moved the end piece of the sofa in line, I discovered crumbs and dirt underneath it. It seems like the cleaning staff simply moved the end piece out of line to cover up the mess. Not cool, guys.

And don't even get me started on the bathroom situation. The toilet behind the bedroom just wouldn't flush properly, so I had to use the guest bathroom instead. It's not exactly convenient, you know? And to top it all off, one of the maids left a dirty pillowcase behind and took the phone off the hook in the bedroom for some unknown reason. This happened on the second to last day of my stay, so it really put a damper on things.

Now, when I brought all these issues to the attention of guest services, they only refunded me three days of the resort fee out of the seven that I stayed. I mean, come on, I requested a full refund. This is the second time I've had problems with cleanliness and technical issues at this hotel, and it's just not acceptable.

Update: I tried to reach out to Simon Pettigrew, the VP of Operations, but I was directed to a woman named Marleen instead. She seemed to be aware of my past disappointing stays, which is not a good sign. Then, I received a call from Carlos Chavez, who had already reviewed my account and knew about my previous experiences. It's not a good sign when they already know about your complaints, right?

Let me tell you about my first stay. There was leftover food in the refrigerator from a previous guest, and the carpet had a big stain leading into the kitchen. I had to call twice to get two drawers in the refrigerator cleaned because they were dirty. And to top it all off, the phone in the room kept cutting out even after the battery was replaced. Oh, and the hotel staff would just come into the room without even knocking. Not cool, guys.

Despite all these issues, I decided to give The Cosmopolitan a second chance. But unfortunately, I encountered similar problems during my second stay. I detailed all these complaints in my emails, calls, and complaints, but it seems like they just didn't take them seriously.

The mini cooler they provided for food and beverage storage was inadequate, just like the previous one. It was the same size as the minibar cooler, and it even had a sour smell from a spill that hadn't been properly cleaned. And guess what? When I moved the end piece of the sofa back into place, I found more crumbs. It's like the staff moved it out of place to hide the mess. Not cool, guys.

And the technical issues continued. The bathroom toilet just wouldn't flush correctly, so I had to use the guest bathroom again. And to make matters worse, there was a loud sound of running water in the bedroom late at night. It's not exactly the peaceful stay I was hoping for.

As I mentioned before, I detailed all these issues to the representatives, but they only offered a partial refund of the resort fee. It was like pulling teeth to get them to do anything about it. It's really disappointing, especially since it's the second time around.

I recently tried to resolve all these problems and requested a FULL refund of the resort fee. But instead, I got the run-around from Marleen. Carlos Chavez did reach out to me, but it was only to provide his contact information in case I decide to stay again, which is highly unlikely at this point. He mentioned offering discounts for future stays and said he would inspect the room before my arrival, but they supposedly did that last time too. Needless to say, it feels like I'm just getting the run-around again.
