Terry Jarvis Premium Snow Plowing Service review: Fraud - breach of contract 138

I hope they can arrest Pam Hennessey and her son Robert also!

I spoke to the young man, Ryan Lee, providing the free snow plowing. He lives in Colden and is providing this service for 20 people. I put my name on the list along with my 3 neighbors and hope he can get another truck. We will not allow this young man to work for free and will pay him the proper rate, if he gets the truck. He is a GEM and a life line for those who are disabled and elderly. Someone posted previously about setting up a fund for the victims. I have no problem donating $20.00 towards gas to this young man for the drive he makes to get to this area.

We should all take some time to pray for Terry Jarvis. She stole a significat amount of money from me, but I hope she recognizes the people she hurt and someday finds the lord in her life.

I also pray for the families affected by this tragedy. I hope you and the other victims can find peace knowing Terry Jarvis will have to answer for her crimes. I cannot wish physical harm on any soul.

Thank You for the kind words about me and my company. We are doing our best to put together another truck to dedicate to that route. I have a driver that is going to volunteer his time if I can get a truck to put him in. I wish we could do more, but WNY Ground Control LLC is still a small company. We are doing everything we can though. I believe we are up to about 24-26 people now. I have my truck dealer going to auction for me on Thursday, looking for a small truck. I have spoken to a plow dealer already and they are making sure they have the plow I need in stock. Unfortunately because of the small driveway sizes in that area, I can put our plows on a smaller truck. We run 3/4 ton trucks for our OP/EA route. I have found that I have trouble navigating the small, narrow drives with these trucks since some of them go right between houses.

I am also getting in contact with other plow contractors that have opening available for those customers that are able to pay for service again. Once, I verify that they hold the correct licenses and insurance I will pass on the info of the customers who have told me it's OK to do so.

At this point we are using our Orchard Park/ East Aurora trucks for these scam victims. After we finish our route we head up north. Hopefully before the next big storm we are set to go with another truck. I will keep everyone posted as soon as we have any news...Thanks again!...Ryan Lee...WNY Ground Control.

I just watched and read the report of Jarvis on Channel 4 where she is before the judge in handcuffs looking contrite. One thing scammers have in common is that they are all liars. I talked to Jarvis on Saturday and she told me SHE was hit by a car. This was in response to my saying that some of her victims were disabled. She told me she knows how it feels to be disabled and actually sounded as if she cared. The voice is not the same. The person I spoke to in the driveway gave me a different name for the male living in the house. The male looks like the son in the news report. The recording we heard on 1-14-12 said that 3 of the trucks were broke down and the voice on the recording was the wife's voice. According to what I just heard in the news report, the wife was in intensive care. When they open their mouths, very little they say will be true.

there are more people involved than Terry, Pam Hennessy and Robert Hennessy. They ALL need t be in jail. If the wife is not in the hospital, the town of towawanda should add perjury to her charges

We all know shes full of it! Her "husbands" three plows were broken down, not my "wife" is in the hospital. Get your stories straight. And why didn't you make some phone calls to your clients then or have your son do the plowing? She'll say anything now but we all know the truth

I must say, I was glad to hear she got stuck in the snow when she tried to evade the police. She is clearly trying to be manipulative, but the truth is obvious! She had NO intentions of either plowing or returning any money to us.

No one was able to reach Terry Jarvis on 1/13/2012, and we have all heard the voice recording from "Terry's wife" said: "one of our truck broke down, one has brake problem, and the other one is something else. We are trying." on 1/14/2012.
I will pray for Terry, Pam, Robert and whoever is involved in this scam: I pray that they will get everything they deserved, in jail and without their Medicare. I pray that they are held responsible to pay back every single penny of what they owe PLUS the pain and suffering of those who mistakenly trusted and depended on them to be able to go to work or to leave the house. I pray that the judge and the society is setting an example so maybe others will not ever have to go through what we have gone through.

Terry lied to the judge/court that her wife was in the hospital. Her voice recording on 01/24 said it was Terry's wife (who was supposed to be in the hospital), and now they claimed that she was hit by a car right before the snow?! The bottom line is that they took our money and did not fulfill the service that was paid. They told the lady on the news that they had 15 trucks. They told us they had 3 trucks broke down. But the truth is they only have one truck; but plenty of victims.
The $2000 bail is giving them a chance to get away from their scam.
Why isn't the Buffalo Police doing anything? There are only charges from Tonawanda, Amherst and Kenmore; but nothing from Buffalo.
The fact that she got stuck in the snow pile while trying to evade the police is called Karma.

How does everyone feel about bail for her? Perhaps restitution should be paid back in full to the people she has scammed before she uses our money again to get out of jail? Bail makes you feel like getting screwed twice by her.

An interesting thought...however I don't think we can prevent them from letting her out if the bail is paid. I do think that son is in on the scam. He signed my second check. Did you ever think how lucky this awful woman got by Buffalo not getting a snowfall until after the first of the year? If she had not plowed in Dec. none of us would have made the second payment.

I do not think the whole amount has to be posted if you go through a bail bondsman. Because her crime is not violent and the jails are over crowded, she is going to be released. Someone at the phone number just called me a ###. I am not feeling very charitable right now. He/she (refused to give me a name) has to do paperwork in order to give me a refund. They have been working on that paperwork for a week. I will not print my response.

Someone at the number used a racial slur when I spoke with her today.

I say we give them a deadline to pay the money back, and if they don't WE ALL GO TO HER HOUSE together and demand the full refund.
It's a joke that they are using our money to pay the bail; yet they have no intention of paying us back. The judge should make them return all the money before they are allowed to pay the bail.
Also, I think we should record everything when talking to them on the phone. If I have to tak a day off to go to court, they are gonna have to pay for it.

We need to put it in writing that we want a refund which I have been reluctant to do because of the address. We can use return receipt (I believe it does not have to be signed for) or whatever will show that it has been delivered to 1470 Kensington Ave. Probably send it to 54 Cleveland Dr as well. We need to get this done this week because the end of January marks the half-way point of the contract. I am going to look into locating the other criminals but I do not want to post on the board what I am doing. I know how to get in touch with Doris and Dr. Rosenberg, the victims on my street, and a couple I ran into looking for the criminals. I believe the AG's office is going after the case but it does not hurt to give them as much info as we can, as long as we do not get in their way. STEAL my money, LIE over the phone that you plowed my drive, AND CALL me a ###. I believe that we are smarter than they are.

ALERT! Remember how I posted that I visited 2 different city Police precincts and they refused to help? Well in TODAY'S News there is a place to call to report...Detective Robert Cunningham at 689-1343 I plan to call him this morning at 9Am and will post again after I talk to him.
I also wrote a letter to the editor of Buff News re: the Buffalo Police precincts... Now I am waiting to see if they print it.

we know someone at the attorney generals office, they said we will most likely not get any $ back which sucks. Her son prob has all the $ or whoever he is because he deposited one of our checks not terry. Nothing prob in her name except the name on top of the contract.

Is Today's News a show? I am trying to find it on the computer. I will call Det. Cunningham as well but is he in at 9 am? I have been trying to find out why Buffalo PD would not take our complaints. I wonder if it is the volume of complaints and size of the city. The bulk of the victims are in Buffalo. Thanks for the info!

The son is probably behind this. He appeared to be doing all of the talking in court. If we cannot get our money back they should have to serve time in jail. Everyone involved in this scheme should not be left on the streets to bilk other people. They live in nice homes with nice vehicles and I do not have the impression any of them actually WORK. I am pi...ed!

Just called the number and it is for Amherst PD.

I just called Terry Jarvis. At first the woman on the phone identified herself as "Terry", and then later said " I am Terry's wife, and I am in the ICU". I aske her about her son and why his name appeared on my check and she hung up! I could hear music in the backround, this woman is full of crap! I will keep calling this scam artist until the whole family pays for the people they have hurt!

Finished my letter and will be going to the post office soon. In the lower left corner of the contract there is a statement " all agreements contingent upon strikes, accidents, or delays beyond our control". Probably why we are just hearing about an accident. Wonder if it is real or staged? How convenient. The irony is she never intended to plow our properties, she kept our money, and now we are stating refund our money and end the contract. Exactly what they want. I do not want to be anywhere near them but I have every intention of seeing them brought to justice.

I plan to do everything in my power to make sure these people are brought to justice. After the wife used a racial slur with me, I plan on making it my mission in life to bring down the Hennessey family!

Well i spoke to Robert Cunnungham, the Amherst detective and he gave me a man to call as now it appears they have a lot on Terry Jarvis and it is going to be handled by the District Attorneys Office in County Court. so everyone should call today

Put it in writing you want a refund and send it priority mail. They will not have to sign for it but the post ofc will advise you that it was delivered. It cost $5. and change for each letter. I sent it to 54 Cleveland and 1470 Kensington. Should be there tomorrow. Since Pam is now saying she is talking to us from ICU, do you think they are going to come into court and state you requested a refund over the phone? Do they really think we are that stupid? Their comments are spoken so convincingly it is as if they believe it. There is a medical term for that.

I called their number last night around 8:15 PM and I believe their son picked up the phone and he said "Please call during our regular hours. Thank you." then hung up. His changed of tone made me believe that they are monitoring this site and reading what we are sharing here.
I called again this morning and this afternoon and I was told by the woman that they will refund my money by tomorrow or the next day.
If that does not happen, I am planning on going to their house with some friends and we are not leaving until we get our money back.
I will also make sure that I will be showing up at every court appearing and pleading the judge to lock the whole family away for a very long time!

Please follow up with the info from Doris. Rec'd a letter from the AG's office with the same info. If you filed with the AG's ofc they will forward your name to the DA's ofc unless you tell them not to. So glad to read today that one of the victims was smart enough to get a license plate. I was also surprised Buffalo PD has a copy of the cancelled checks. I will definitely attend court hearings but undecided about going to the home. Get 50 or 60 people outside chanting: SHOW ME THE MONEY! Might be interesting.

I was also threatened by Terry Jarvis today (1/28) at 10:30 am when I called and asked for the refund that was supposed to be done by today as she promised on the phone. She said "You will get your refund. How about I bring bunch of friends over to your house and handle that? How is that?"
I told them that we will let the police handle that.
They are truly low life criminals who is taking advantage of our system and good innocent people. We should NOT let any of them get away with it. They have money to pay the bails in four courts (Amherst, Kenmore, Tonawanda, Cheektowaga), yet they do not have any interest in paying us back?!
What if anyone has a slip & fall? Can we hold them responsible?

Please everyone contact Brian Dassero in the DA's office. I spoke to him with a thought I had, but I feel they are the experts and can handle this. I have every confidence that the AG's office as well as the DA's office will do everything possible to nail all of them. If they are monitoring this site, so what. They already know they are criminals, liars, cheats, jailbirds, and lowlifes. Only despicable human beings would defraud the elderly and disabled. This board is informational and a way for us to vent. The real strategy is behind closed doors and would never be posted here. Let us keep in touch especially for court dates. I decided to not call them anymore because it is a waste of time. I also do not like being called a ###. I am going to let the police and courts handle this matter.
What nerve we have in wanting our money back. I do not care if Jarvis has to collect soda bottles, muck out horse stalls, or a simple honest day of work. I want my money back.

How about ALSO Iequiring community service for organizations that support the elderly and disabled

I totally agree with c.i. jones... we are much smarter than those criminals especially if we all work together.
I wonder(and challenge) if there is any good/smart lawyer or reporter will take on this case and nail every single person who was involved with this organized crime?! I know there are many victims like us and it has been on the news/new papers.
I thank you all for being persistent (like me) not just getting our money back; but also making sure that the same tragedy will not happen to others. Image you can't leave your house to go to get your medication, to see your doctor, to go to work or to get food/grocery because of those heartless crooks who planned the whole scam.

District Attorney's Office and the Attorney General's Office are both working on this. Seems better to me than a private lawyer would do. One of these offices covers the "criminal" case and the other one covers the "civil" case. Let them, do their work. keep a positive mind about this and justice will be done and perhaps some of our money will be returned to each of us. Last year there was a snow plow scam which took in 300 people. Attorney Generals Office sued and each person got back about $35 Al Vaughters from CH 4 Action told me this. Keep the faith people!
