We got a 2017 Sportage from Gunther last year and we're pretty happy with the car, but the dealer wasn't that great. We had a problem with the sun roof when we got back from New Mexico. The dealer in Las Cruces NM said that the motors and track needed to be replaced, and it took 2 guys 6 hours to one day to fix it. We decided to get it fixed at team gunther when we got back home, but they didn't have a loaner available so we left it there anyway. It took ten days for the parts to come in and then another 43 days before they said it was done. When we went to pick up the car, the sun roof didn't work as well as it did before. It only opened about a foot and the sun shade closed before the roof. Also, the warning light on the dash for open sun roof comes on. We talked to the owner, Ashley G, but it didn't help. Now they won't work on the car anymore. Kia North America said that these are individually owned dealer ships and there is nothing they can do. So now we have to find another dealer who can fix it. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER KIA VEHICLE AS LONG AS I LIVE! I suggest you don't either because of the service after the sale...

I bought a 2013 Juke Nismo from Team Gunther KIA a few weeks ago without an extended warranty. On my way home from the dealership, the car started shaking and experiencing a delayed shift, which I thought was the transmission. It has been doing so ever since. My brother spoke with the sales manager, Tony, who advised us to bring the car back for them to look at it. I paid $300.00 to have the car transported back to Team Gunther because I was afraid I'd be stranded on the side of the road alone between the town I live in and Daphne if I drove it. Casandra drove the car while it was there (about a week) and I was told by Trevor that the only thing wrong with it was that the tires didn't stick to the road upon acceleration because it is a small SUV. I didn't find it funny at all and told Trevor he was a liar. Since then, I had the engine mount replaced because it was broken, but it didn't help with the shaking. My next repair will be an axle. Also, my battery and brake lights come on after a few minutes of driving it (indicating issues with the transmission according to google) and it dies on me. After posting this to the Gunther's website, I received a reply from Team Gunther saying that the Service Department had left me a voice message and was awaiting my reply. So, I called them and they said if I brought the car up there, they would look at it, again. So, I replied to Team Gunther with this, "So, my question is, if I pay another 300.00 to get it back up there will my experience be any different? And are you going to take responsibility for the issues since they began on day one (or before day one)? I would like a detailed response please." I never received that response. The service department is incompetent or dishonest along with the sales department. They sold me a lemon and will not take responsibility!

I buyed a car for my daughter 3 months ago from Team Gunther KIA. She had the car for 30 days and it was put in service for engine problems. They knowinly sold us a car that was serviced by them and another dealership for the same problems. I called many times and they always say "they are waiting on a part". This was my daughters first car and they have had it for over a month in the service department. I paid cash and I want a refund or another car. This is keeping my daughter from going to college and almost losing her job. I work too so this is her transportation.

I bought a 2014 Sportage SX from Team Gunther KIA on October 31 and it came in bad shape on November 26th. The tires were worn out and the heat shield and wiper blades needed to be replaced right away. They didn't even clean it before sending it to me during the pandemic. Plus, I still don't have the right documents for registration in Colorado. I've been trying to get in touch with the dealership, but they haven't been very helpful. I even had to file a claim with Kia North America headquarters. It's been a hassle and I wouldn't recommend buying from them.

I went on the Team Gunther KIA website on 05/21/2022 and asked to talk to a salesperson. On 05/22/2022, I got a text from a salesperson saying the car I wanted was there and I could come see it. They said they were closed on Sunday but we could do business on Monday 05/23/2022. I asked for the wiring info to pay my down payment and to do a video call to see the car because I live in CA and the car was in AL. A guy named *** from Team Gunther called me and asked if I had Google Duo for the video call but I didn't. He asked another person named *** to help me use FaceTime on my iPhone. I waited from 8:40am to 9:16am on Monday but *** said they were waiting for the owner to come with the key. At 12:16pm, I still hadn't heard anything so I asked for an update. *** said the car wasn't available anymore and he couldn't do anything about it. I asked to talk to the General Manager or the Owner to find out what happened. I also checked my credit to make sure I could buy the car. I spent 4 hours waiting for the video call. I tried calling them back but the calls kept hanging up or going to voicemail. The car was still on the website and in person. I did everything I could to make sure everything went smoothly. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else because it seems like they're trying to trick people with the price or the car.
