I took my Ford Fusion to Coggin Ford because the check engine light was on. They said it needed a new engine, which was covered by the warranty. After 8 weeks, I finally got my car back. But as soon as I left, the light came back on. I took it back and they said they would fix it as a "courtesy," but they were really rude about it. I had to go back again because the same thing happened. This time, they didn't even call me back. I tried calling them, but it was like talking to dead air. I ended up calling someone else to fix my car. Coggin Ford is the worst place ever!

I didn't drive my 2013 Ford Escape for a few months during the 2020 Quarantine, and when I finally did, the Battery had acid damage and needed to be replaced. I hired a private mechanic to do the work, and then took it to a local mechanic to have the oil changed and check for any additional damage. The windshield wipers stopped working properly, so I took it to Coggin Ford on Atlantic Avenue on August 29th. I waited for four hours while they "ran tests" and "looked over" my vehicle. They charged me $436.00 to replace a cord on the battery that cost $20.00, charging me $80.00 for the cord, and $295.00 plus tax for the time on the car. They didn't even fix the windshield wipers. The next day, my car's oil light came on, which was odd because I had just had the oil changed, so I topped it off myself. In November, I noticed a smell coming from my air conditioner and had been experiencing some headaches and dizziness when I drove for too long. I didn't think anything of it until my car stopped because the coolant was low. I topped that off, but it began happening every week. I was constantly having to fill up the oil and coolant. I took my car to Pepboys in February to see what was going on. There I found out that there was a leak in the oil AND coolant system and that the damage looked intentional because the car was missing parts under the hood. I realized that I had been driving with fumes from the coolant and oil pouring into my car from the leaks, and suffering from CO2 poisoning. In March, this month, the alternator has started to act up, and now there is an engine fault. In less than 7 months since I took my car to Coggin Ford of Atlantic, my car is completely falling apart, and now needs over $3000.00 in repairs due to damage that the Mechanics at Coggin Ford did to my car. I know that they did it, because I had my car looked at and evaluated before I took it in, and there were no issues. Don't take your car to Coggin Ford. I believe that they intentionally damaged my car and I am sure they do it to many other people as well!

I went to Coggin Ford on 5 November 'cause my 2017 Ford Explorer was messed up. They were supposed to fix it and my bumper, but it's now 24 January and I still don't know when it'll be done. The person in charge of my car "transferred" without telling me, and I've had to pay for a rental for months without getting anywhere with my car. I'm super disappointed with the service I've gotten. I told them from the start that I'm in the Navy and have a kid, so having a car is really important. Even though my insurance and warranty are covering most of the repairs, I'm still gonna have to pay over $3,000, plus over $1,500 for the rental. It's been almost 3 months and that's not okay.

I got a car from Coggin Ford in Jacksonville, Florida. It's a 2019 model and I got a letter saying there was a recall for the brakes. I tried to get it fixed a few times but every time I went to the dealership, they said they didn't have the part and would call me to reschedule. This happened more than once and my appointments were over 6 months apart. After the first time they canceled, I had to call them to reschedule. I'm writing this review because I don't want to get in an accident because of the brake recall.

and this has been a huge inconvenience for me. I am very disappointed in the lack of communication and follow-up from Coggin Ford. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.
