Tanstel electronics was solely chosen by the manufacturer of my new product. After attempting to schedule (and being unable to reach anyone) with Tanstel I googled and found horrible reviews. I almost contacted the manufacturer of my product and requested another repair company but decided to give Tanstel a chance. That decision was a giant waste of my life! When the owner of Tanstel finally came out he had to order a part. The part arrived a few days before the start of July 4th weekend. I called to notify him in hopes he could come that Thursday or Friday but did not hear back. The following week (Wednesday) his webpage was down, he was not answering calls, text, or emails. I called the manufacturer, and they also could not reach him. He finally called 7/13 to say he would be here 7/16. It is 7/16 and he was supposed to come today. I waited ALL day and he NEVER showed, called, emailed, nothing. It is unfortunate he is allowed to be in "business" at all. What is the point of having a business (if you can call it that) and being so elusive?

On May 2018 i brought my portal AC to be checked, they asked for $50 down payment to examine the unit. and will send the report in two weeks.

4 weeks still didn't get the report and each time i call they says they are busy and the manager is out and they cannot reach him, they have left him a message and so on.

i decided to take my AC back, and since they did not checked they promise to refund the $50 down payment in couple of days.

for the last three months, i'm calling regarding the refund and still not received yet.

always the same story, the manager is out, we will leave him a massage, call tomorrow and so on.

it seems the business is ruining by one man, the company website has one phone number and that for customer service, if you call that number they will tell you the m manager is out, if you ask for his number they will tell you we cannot give his personal number, so you have to call again hopping that he will be in the office.

My refrigerator stopped working on March 1st. A different company informed me that it was likely the compressor and that LG provided a warranty for parts only and that I would need to go through an authorized LG service company. Unfortunately, that led me to Tanstel. They said that they could not diagnose this over the phone, which is understandable. I set up an appointment for a tech to come diagnose and repair the refrigerator. He arrived as scheduled, looked at the front of the refrigerator (he had no way to see any components), opened the door and told me that it was the compressor and I owed him $90.00. He said that he had to order the parts and they would call me in 3-4 days after the parts arrived. I never received a call, so I called them and had to provide the serial number and they would call me back. After not hearing back, I called again next day and was told it wasn't covered without proof of purchase. I sent that in and was promised a return call. After no call, I called again and was told the part was ordered and would get a call when it arrived in 3-4 days. Another week and I had to call back. No part, but someone would call me back. A day later, I had to call again and was again promised a call back. After no call back, I spoke with LG and they had indicated that the part should have arrived. I have called Tanstel again and was told that the part arrived and they had to schedule me a week out. It has now been over four weeks without a refrigerator. I would recommend never using this company nor buying an LG product.
