Tangerine CA Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Tangerine CA: Locked Account Issue Unresolved for Over 6 Hours

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Tangerine CA. I've been trying to get my locked account issue resolved for over 6 hours now and still haven't been able to talk to anyone who can help me out. It's frustrating to say the least.

I've been calling them every day and they just keep putting me on hold to talk to the security department. But guess what? They never respond! It's like they don't even care about their customers.

If you're thinking about putting your money in Tangerine bank, you might want to think twice. Who knows when they might just take it away from you without any warning. It's not worth the risk, in my opinion.

Overall, I'm just really disappointed with the lack of customer service and support from Tangerine CA. They need to step up their game if they want to keep their customers happy.

Tangerine CA Disappointing Experience with Tangerine CA: A Review of Their Services

Tangerine CA is not a good bank, to be honest. They have a lot of problems and they don't seem to care about their customers. I mean, seriously, they don't even know what they're doing half the time. Their cards are a disaster and they're actually just a part of Scotia Bank, which is a terrible bank too. Their online banking platform is a complete mess. You can't even deposit money or withdraw money properly. And don't even get me started on their VISA/Debit card. It's complete crap and it doesn't work at all. I don't know what's wrong with this bank, but it's definitely a piece of $#*!.

Tangerine CA Tangerine Bank Review: Terrible Customer Service and Long Wait Times

Tangerine is one of those banks that you can only access online. That means that if you have any issues, you have to go through the website or give them a call. If you need to replace a credit card that's been damaged, you can't do it online. You have to call them up, and let me tell you, the wait times are always long. It doesn't matter what day or time it is, you're going to be waiting for a few hours.

I used to think that Tangerine's customer service was pretty good, but now it's just terrible. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Tangerine CA Think Twice Before Signing Up: A Review of Tangerine CA's Terrible Customer Service and Fraud Prevention

Tangerine CA is a bank that you might want to think twice about before signing up. The bank may offer low fees, but you get what you pay for. The customer service is terrible! It's almost impossible to speak with someone on the phone. When you finally get through, they put you on hold, transfer you, and then put you on hold again. It's like a never-ending cycle that leaves you frustrated and with a dead battery.

Recently, I had fraud in my bank account, and Tangerine CA did nothing to stop it. If I hadn't transferred my money to my savings account, my bank account would have been emptied. The bank didn't even try to stop the thieves. They owe me $138.70, and I still haven't received it. It's hard to trust a bank that can't even stop fraud and has terrible customer service.

Overall, I would not recommend Tangerine CA. The bank may offer low fees, but the service is not worth it. The bank needs to improve its customer service and take fraud seriously. If you're looking for a reliable bank, Tangerine CA is not the one for you.

Tangerine CA Poor Customer Service and Incompetence: My Experience with Tangerine CA

Tangerine CA is not the best option for those who live in rural areas or have a PO Box. I had a terrible experience with their banking services. They never returned my calls, and they didn't process my information correctly. They also didn't treat me with respect or honesty.

I've been trying to resolve an issue for almost three months now, and even the supervisors are not helpful. They don't keep track of the information I provide, and they don't care if I've called multiple times with the same problem. They also give me false information, which only adds to my frustration.

Overall, I would not recommend Tangerine CA. It's not worth the hassle. The supervisors are just as unhelpful as the staff who answer the phones. They don't care about their customers, and they will ignore you if you have a valid reason to be frustrated.

Tangerine CA Disappointing Experience with Tangerine CA: Issues with Joint Account, Debit Cards, and Transfers

Me and my missus, we just opened up accounts with Tangerine CA and let me tell you, I'm not too happy about the whole process. It was a lot of work just to get everything set up and now I'm feeling some regret. Here's what's been grinding my gears:

First off, we wanted to open up a Joint Chequing account, but apparently we couldn't do that without both of us having our own accounts and debit cards first. Like, what's the point of a joint account then?

And then, get this, we couldn't even link the other joint account holder's debit card to the joint account. Like, what's the point of having a joint account if we can't both access it with our own cards?

And finally, I've been sending my daughter a weekly allowance from another bank for years now, but apparently I can't transfer money directly to her account with Tangerine. I have to manually email an Interact transfer every single week. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Honestly, our TD accounts were way more accommodating than this.

Tangerine CA Frustrating Experience with Tangerine CA: Excessive Security Measures and Poor Customer Service

I had a bit of a frustrating experience with Tangerine CA recently. I needed to unblock my internet access, so I called their security team. Let me tell you, it was a real hassle. I must have called them over a dozen times, and every time I had to wait on hold for at least half an hour, sometimes even a full hour, just to get an answer.

Eventually, they told me I needed to send in some documents by email. Okay, fine, I can do that. But then they asked me to take a selfie of myself holding my driver's card. What the heck? Is that really necessary? Do they have some kind of photo ID software in the banking center or something? It made me feel like I was some kind of criminal just for wanting access to my own account.

I asked if I could speak to a manager or supervisor about this, but the customer service rep just told me, "What for? You can just speak to me." I mean, come on. Are they running a bank or a police/military station? It was all just a bit too much for me.

Overall, I'm not sure if I would recommend Tangerine CA. The security measures seem a bit excessive, and the customer service could definitely use some improvement. But hey, maybe that's just me.

Tangerine CA Terrible Customer Service and Account Blocking: My Disappointing Experience with Tangerine CA

I had a really bad experience with Tangerine CA. Their customer service is terrible! They held my money without any reason and it was really frustrating. I would suggest that you consider another bank instead of Tangerine CA.

They even blocked my account without any acceptable reasons. I had to wait for 35 minutes on hold just to find out that the mistake was on their side. It was really frustrating and their only excuse was a computer problem. The 35-minute wait tells you with what priority this bank is willing to solve their client problems. I have an excellent credit score and more than 1/2 million dollars with them, but they still treated me like this. It's just too much and they have gone too far.

My wife was stuck all that time at a cash dispenser with our little children, waiting desperately for the problem to be resolved. It was a really bad experience and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through it. I suggest that you run away and find yourself another bank.

Tangerine CA Tangerine Bank Review: Terrible Experience, Account Closed Without Notice

Tangerine CA used to be a great bank, but my experience with them was not so great. Out of nowhere, they decided to shut down my account and end our financial relationship. I asked them why, but all they said was that they were not meeting my needs. That's not really a reason at all, especially since I didn't have any complaints and everything was fine until they closed my account.

To make matters worse, I didn't even get a notice until a month after they shut down my account. The letter was dated for February, but I didn't receive it until the beginning of April. Talk about short notice! Tangerine left me financially ruined for almost a month and a half. I had to wait for a bank draft, and because it wasn't certified, my new bank held it for 10 business days.

If I had to rate this bank, it would be half a star, not even. I wouldn't recommend banking with Tangerine.

Tangerine CA Tangerine investments

I called Tangerine Investment on August 11/23 trying to redeem a small portion of a mutual fund in my RRSP account. An agent by the name of Richard and I spent 10-15 minute on account/investment profile updating questions in addition to usual security questions. Then Richard said he was going to ask me some more "identical questions" on each of my 3 types of investment account I have with Tangerine & I needed to answer these "identical questions" 3 times.

I get annoyed & felt that my RSP funds was being hijacked & I have no access to my own registered RSP money until I fully satisfy a long set of administrative or so called "regulatory" questions. As a result, I missed an ideal fund redeem price that I have been waiting for years.

I feel that most of these questions has no or little relevance to investors protection or frauds. And most of these administrative questions are invasion of my privacy & are intrusive. And I regard them a form of discrimination against investors like me who rely on telephones to buy & sell.

These constant needs to update investment/account profile are all intrusive to inactive investors & apparently we investors do not have a choice to refuse

This DOES NOT SEEM right in a democratic country-----to answer a long list of administrative questions in order to access our own money using a pretext of investment/account profile updating

Desired outcome: I will not be interrogated with log list of administrative questions other than normal account security questions to access mwn money

Tangerine CA Poor Customer Service at Tangerine CA: Frustrating Roadblocks and Lack of Solutions

Tangerine CA ain't got the best customer service, if you ask me. They make things harder for us customers and don't seem too keen on finding solutions that actually work for us. It's like they don't care about our needs or something. I mean, come on, can't they at least try to be a bit more helpful? It's frustrating when you're trying to get things done and they just keep throwing roadblocks in your way. I wish they'd step up their game and start treating their customers better.

So, I had a real bad experience with Tangerine CA. Someone went and did some shady stuff with my account, depositing a fake check and all that. And instead of trying to figure out what happened, they just went ahead and closed my account. Like, what the heck, man? They didn't even give me a chance to explain myself or anything. It's like they just assumed I was the one who did it. And now I'm left with no account and no way to access my money. It's a real bummer, let me tell you. I wouldn't recommend Tangerine CA to anyone, not after the way they treated me.

Yo, so I gotta say, Tangerine CA ain't all that great. I been with them since they was ING Direct and back then, they was killin' it with the service. But then Scotia bank took over and everything went downhill. They dropped the interest rates and now the online banking is hella slow. Like, it ain't even worth it. The service is just straight up poor.

Tangerine CA Mixed Experiences with Tangerine CA: Great Mobile App, Poor Customer Service and Website

Tangerine CA is a bank that I have been using for a while now. I have had some good experiences with them, but there are also some issues that I have encountered. One of the main problems that I have faced is with their customer service over the phone. Tangerine CA Tangerine CA Review: Poor Customer Service and Slow Mail Delivery

Yo, so I gotta say, Tangerine CA ain't really impressin' me much. I mean, I had to wait on hold for like 30 minutes just to talk to someone about my credit card, and then it took another 30 minutes just to get it credited. And don't even get me started on the security holds - that was another 30 minutes of my life I'll never get back. And the worst part? There's no way to talk to a supervisor or get a direct line to someone who can actually help you out. It's all just telephone and emails, which is a real pain in the butt if you ask me.

And let's talk about the staff (or lack thereof). I mean, seriously, where are they all? It's like they're all hiding or something. And don't even think about trying to get ahold of the CEO - I bet they wouldn't even spend 90 minutes on hold like the rest of us poor saps.

Oh, and if you're thinking about getting a card from Tangerine CA, I'd say think again. The mail takes like two weeks to get to you, which is just ridiculous in this day and age.

All in all, I gotta give Tangerine CA a big fat zero for everything. They really need to step up their game if they want to keep customers happy.
