Yesterday at around noon I was attacked by my neighbor across the street, the owner of Tamarindo Blue Apartments, Michele Stalla. Michele approached me, very angry, grabbed my glasses, put them in his pocket and demanded $100, because several days ago he hired the molasses truck to put down molasses in the street in front of my entrance, which I did not want there because it causes problems for my dogs feet and also for me - I am disabled. So I washed some of the molasses away with a hose. (Let me mention that I have as much right to put water in the street in front of my property to keep dust down as anyone else has to put molasses down for that purpose, according to my lawyer and the police.) I was walking my little dog Spencer at the time of the attack. Michele started shoving me, and demanding I give him money, then grabbed my glasses and put them in his pocket. I need those glasses to see, so I grabbed Michele by his shirt and demanded my glasses back. We tussled for a while. I had to drop Spencer's leash - she was scared and headed back to my gate and waited there to be let back in. After a lot of struggling I was able to get my glasses back by ripping open Michele’s pants pocket where he had put them. I inadvertently made a mess of his shirt in this process. Then he tried to steal my hat and knocked me down on the ground. I yelled for people to call the police. I am in my 60s. Michele is younger and in better shape. I have a neurological problem that effects my balance, so it was not so hard to knock me down. One person - I am not sure who he was - gently tried to persuade Michele to break off his attack, but Michele ignored him and started threatening me with his fist. At that point I had had about enough, pulled out a small folding knife that I carry to protect my dogs from attacks, and warned Michele I might use it if on him he continued his attack. (All of this has been reported to the police, who have assured me I was within my rights to defend myself the way I did.) Then other people who had heard me yelling started coming out from the Tamarindo Blue Apartments, and when I told them what was going some did not want to believe me - they think Michele is such a nice guy! (However, if you Google for “Michele Stalla Tamarindo Blue complaints” you can find dozens of bad reviews and reports on tripadvisor, Google, complaintsboard, scam report and elsewhere about Michele violently attacking people staying in his hotel after they complained about things like bad odors, clogged toilets, bedbugs, thieves, and other problems that he refused to address during their stay.) Michele pretended to his hapless guests that he had done nothing and threatened to call the police because of the damage done to his clothing when I was forced retrieve the glasses he snatched off my face in his attempt to blackmail me into giving him $100. I told him to go ahead and call the police because that’s exactly what I intended to do, and I have done that: I filed a police report about this incident so that if Michele ever tries anything like it again response will be understood and they will come to my aid immediately. Apparently I am not the only person who has called the police because of his behavior.

The incident occurred in 2015 where the owner of the Tamarindo Blue apartments, Michele Stalla attacked guests of his hotel. The guests also had items stolen from the room.

The apartment also flooded with bathroom water. Causing ruin to several items of the guests.

Very disgusting hotel premises. Pool is dirty. Beds dirty. Floors dirty. Kitchen dirty.

Stinks like sewer all of the property.
