I submitted a batch on June 8th 2023... For some reason the only pay option was "Delayed Advance"... I didn't know why that was the only option but the note on the submitted batch said that I will be paid on the 12th. That's not too bad... I have enough gas in my truck to last me until I get paid on said batch. So when the 12th arrive, there's no deposit in my account. So I called to speak to someone about this... and after waiting 6 hours on a call back, I called them again and selected to be called back while still holding my original place in line.. "so they say", and after another hour or so, I get a call back and explain my issue. I was then told that the company I submitted for factoring had bad credit with TAFS and that's why the "Delayed Advance" was the only option available. I then told them that not possible, because I did a credit check on the portal and they had credit of about $40,000 so I booked the load with the broker. The agent then told me that the broker is showing to have bad credit on their computer. So while I had the agent on the phone I went on the TAFS portal and sure enough, the broker is still showing to have credit of $40k and I told the agent this... He then told me there was nothing he can do because they have bad credit so I have to wait until they pay them before I can get paid... I then said, that's not fair... I did business with that company because your portal stated they were good to do business with... I should not be punished for the mistakes of TAFS and that I need that money for gas to haul my current load. I then asked to speak to a supervisor and the agent said one will call me the next day... Needless to say, no supervisor called! I have called TAFS four (4) times about this batch and no one wants to get me my money! The last person I spoke to said that the brokerage company is now showing that they are in good standing in their computer! Yet, I still have to wait to get paid!
They made me do a delayed advance on an invoice and once the broker paid tafs gave me the money. Then the proceeded to do a charge back and claim that the broker didn’t mean to send the money for me so I had to reach out to the broker to get proof that they sent the money for me so tafs can give me my money back
