I went in to buy food from Taco Cabana. However, the experience was horrible. The young woman asked to take my order, then abruptly interrupted me to ask me to wait as she spoke to someone else. I could hear people laughing in the background. After a long wait, she came back and I repeated my order. She asked me to hold again. Then asked me to repeat my order. I was running late as it was and she continued to ask me what my order was. I assume that she may be new so that is not an issue. A bit irritating but not uncommon for fast food.
I ordered sopapillas. They were horrible. They are rock hard and not fresh. When I pulled up to pay, the women were laughing in a huddle like teenagers gossiping.
Please review the footage. The food was horrible. I cannot eat this. They are not fresh. This is a first.
I will never come here again and I am going to review this online pending the outcome.
I even videoed the exchange because it was so unprofessional.
Because it was just $1.59, I am not going to go back and subject myself to that. Ladies laughing and acting unprofessional. There were so many and no one was helping the cashier who looked miserable and was not laughing along. I will give her that. Seriously, please review the footage. They were literally laughing and playing around like they were at a party. Very different from normal work settings.
This is unacceptable. The food quality is horrific. The women laughing and repeating my order over and over was off-putting.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate it if the company would review the footage and implement policies on professionalism and not selling day old, un-edible, stale food. And please ask the employees not to be rude.
Taco Cabana - false advertising and taking advantage of senior citizens
On 08/21/19 I went to Taco Cabana to get the 50% off Senior Citizen deal that was sent to me in email. They would not give me the offer because the guy said I had to eat inside. No where on the coupon does it say you must eat inside. It does say that you cannot order online which I didn't do. This is false advertising and taking advantage of Senior Citizens. Yesterday, I ate the $4.99 Cabana Sampler that was also in the email. The only reason I was going to eat at Taco Cabana two days in a row was because of the great offer. I am a Senior and on a budget and I don't appreciate the dishonesty of your emails. I would like to have a 50% off order coupon emailed to me that I can actually use. My order # is 268784. 09/21/19 at 5:14:13. The receipt has lines all over it so the number is hard to read. Please correct you coupons to state that I cannot go through the drive thru.
I am very disappointed that a company would do this.
