Sylvan Homes review: Refusal to fix items that are causing pest and health issues.

I moved into one of Sylan Homes on June 15th and since then I have had nothing but problems with the home. I filled out the walk through form to fix items at move in and was told that someone would come work on the issues. Once moving in I realized that there was a major leak in the basement. Sylvan sent a repair person who had absolutely no experience in diagnosing problems. He guessed on every situation. He informed me that the leak was coming from a crack in the front of the dishawasher which was totally incorrect. That night when my son was taking a shower I noticed that it started to leak again. I have contacted them several times to have this repaired as I am asthmatic and have had 3 attacks since moving into this house due to the air quality from the moisture and possible mold behind the walls. Also listed on the repair order was the dryer. When choosing my house I specifically looked for house with a washer and dryer. Again the repair man said that this would be replaced because it was completely broken. I contact Sylvan to check on the status and my ticket was only "submitted but not approved." I have been using all of my towels and comforters to sop up the water from the leak and now have piles of laundry that can't be cleaned in the comfort of my home. Last but not least there is a MAJOR pest problem. We have had 2 snakes, all kinds of flying insects, and worms in the home in 2 weeks. They have been avoiding my calls and at this point I have thought of putting my first months rent into escrow.
