I inquired about their Saunas and told the rep I will reach out to them. I have been constantly being called from the sales guys and when I blocked the number they were calling me from they started masking their calls and started using my local area code. Such a shady business practice.

I purchased a Sunlighten sauna earlier this year. Since the purchase, I had to reach out to customer support about the functioning of the audio. It is highly sensitive and I frequently have to remove the face to reset the device in order to connect to the BT. Moreover, I have not championed getting the radio to work. Nonetheless, I had relatively successful guided conversations with their customer support representatives. Up until November 24, I have enjoyed my sauna tremendously (foregoing the inconveniences associated with the audio) until I smelled electrical burning. To my disappointment, I noticed a burn mark on the floor heating panel. I submitted a formal Case (#***) on Wednesday, November 25. Since purchasing my sauna, I have experienced the health benefits and truly love it. Unfortunately, this electrical burning was a cause for pause. I decided to research if there were similar complaints/issues via the ComplaintsBoard.com. I am disappointed that there are reported complaints and negative experiences with Sunlighten. To date, this has not been my experience. I have been able to contact customer support with ease. I am usually met with rather friendly and knowledgeable individuals who are eager to assist and provide sound instructions. It is my hope that Case (#***) is rectified in a timely, concise and professional manner, so that I can go back to enjoying the premium brand of infared sauna that I worked so hard to purchase for my home.

I ordered a sauna over a month ago with numerous promises from numerous reps including Emily and others. One of the promises was that it would be delivered within 10-14 days as it was in stock. We purchased this sauna with the expectation that it'd have a properly functioning LCD, but shortly after purchasing we determined we were not able to use apps as described and promised... after 6-12 months of waiting for the latest update to be sent out to make the apps on their LCD's functioning properly, I learned the LCD in our particular sauna is not able to be updated to function properly which from our perspective makes the LCD defective and obsolete. The LCD is still under a 3 year manufacture warranty, yet this company wants us to pay to have the lcd panel "upgraded" to the tune of $500, rather than cover replacement of the LCD with a screen which is capable of accepting the needed update in order for the apps to work properly. It's a shame that rather than honor their warranty and stand by their product and the components within it that they instead attempt to pass the blame onto the android platform and proceed to attempt to take advantage of their customers. The other complaint we have is that you are unable to get this "smart" sauna to turn on remotely without paying $300 a year. This makes the use of the sauna extremely inconvenient to use due to the 1-2 hour warm up period it needs. This seems like that practically all smart home devices offer for remote access for free today, yet this company tries to gouge you on this simple service. I guess if you're able to pay $3000+ for a sauna you're expected to be able to shell out money like there is no tomorrow which you should expect to do if you end up buying one of these sauna's. I attempted to reach out to the owner of the company directly prior to leaving this review and did not get a response.

I was interested in buying a sauna from sunligthen. They had me due a credit check with *** through and organization called ***. I was under the impression this credit check costs one dollar. This organization ended up charging me $30 and has refused to refund the money! I am certainly not going to buy a sauna from sunlighten if they do not refund the $30.

Sunlighten We are now on our 3rd replacement Sauna from Sunlighten in 4 years

We are now on our 3rd replacement Sauna from Sunlighten in 4 years. And within a month of ownership 3 panels stopped heating. That was just 2 months ago that they sent replacement pieces and within the last 2 weeks the same 2 panels stopped heating up again. As well as one of the front facing heaters is fully blown. I am so disappointed with this product and the only time we get a response is when I file a complaint on here. We have tried 4 different saunas now and all have had numerous issues. I completely regret this financial decision and wish that we would have chosen another company entirely.

Sunlighten I received a uncompleted and partly non functioning sauna

I received a uncompleted and partly non functioning sauna. The sauna doesn't have vents to release moisture build up which has impacted my asthma. I have to continually open the door to release moisture and heat build up. It came without the CD player (replacement does not work) and the radio never worked. The color lights that were to be included were never delivered. The required documents needed prior to the order were not delivered on time. There were no cup nor towel holders. It's just a basic box for a very high price. I have contacted this company on many occasions to have these issues resolved. I indeed got the run around without resolution.

Sunlighten I have called Sunlighten 4 times over our spa not heating properly

I have called Sunlighten 4 times over our spa not heating properly. My wife has called Sunlighten 3 times. I have emailed Sunlighten several times but they don't respond. The last two times I have spoken with them they have promised to overnight the "Part" that will allow our sauna to heat up. The first part sent took two weeks to receive and it was the wrong part. Since then they have promised twice to overnight the part and have never sent it. I called again two weeks ago and I was told a supervisor would call me back the next day. No response. This sauna has not worked since we purchased it and their service is absolutely horrible. I would like to return this piece of junk.

Purchased an infrared sauna from Sunlighten on 05 upon arrival a couple of weeks later, the sauna was inoperable, we contacted the com[any and began down a rabbit hole of back and forth promises of the resolution, we then waited month's as they assured us of sending a technician to come out and fix the sauna, we were also sold the sauna without complete transparency that we would need to hire an electrician to re-wire our home for proper use. The estimate was several thousand dollars which they refused to cover the cost! We still have the sauna non-working sauna sitting here, no way to disregard it, and have not been refunded properly. We only have a few more days to file suit and thought we would try this first.

Sunlighten I purchased a residential sauna for mothers day and was told the item would ship within one week

I purchased a residential sauna for mothers day and was told the item would ship within one week. It has now been over a month, and I have had to call multiple times just to get someone on the phone to help me. After no resolution, I come to find out they gave the shipping company the wrong phone number to reach me. I never received my item after all this time. Since I can NEVER get anyone on the phone to speak with, i emailed the letting them know I DO NOT want this item any longer as i find their service team to be absolutely horrible. Now they want to charge me a cancellation fee of $500 for an item I never received, and they never assisted me in receiving! I want a full refund immediately. Again I DONT EVEN HAVE THE ITEM and they want to charge me for their mistake.

Sunlighten I purchased a Solo sauna (from sales agent ***) and Solo pad on April 1st

I purchased a Solo sauna (from sales agent ***) and Solo pad on April 1st. The solo pad has never heated, something it is supposed to do. I filed a complaint by email with the company on April 10th. Since then there have been several emails between me and Ms. and also between me and a customer service rep named *** trying to resolve the matter. NO PROGRESS HAS BEEN MADE AT ALL! *** does not reply to my emails in a timely manner, often taking days to respond, if he responds at all. Also, the instruction manual the company sent is nonsensical. It instructs the buyer to plug the solo pad into the receptacle on the control box. THERE IS NO RECEPTACLE ON THE CONTROL BOX! I spent $2500 on this product. The solo pad does not work at all. The company seems to care nothing about customer service and has done NOTHING to set the matter right!

Sunlighten We realized there was a problem with the sauna, it did not heat

We realized there was a problem with the sauna, it did not heat. Everything else including lights, radio, timer worked except it would not heat. After contacting Sunlighten we purchased a new circuit board which I installed with the help of one of their technicians. After installing new circuit board nothing on the sauna,(lights, radio timer) would work. We contacted Sunlighten ( after several attempts because they would not return our call) once they did call they suggested we hire a certified Sunlighten technicians to look at it. The technicians( which was 2.5 hour away) cost was $552.00 and verified the board was installed properly and it still would not work. His professional opinion was that they sent me the incorrect circuit board. Many attempts to contact them to get our problem solved they will not return our call. I did let them know I would be contacting ComplaintsBoard.com since they would not respond to my voicemails. I had something I could use before now I have nothing that works.

Sunlighten I purchase my second Sunlighten Signature 2 Sauna at the end of January

I purchase my second Sunlighten Signature 2 Sauna at the end of January . The sauna never heated up to the maximum temperature from the onset and it took twice as long as advertised to heat up. The representative I purchased both saunas from never returned my email or phone call. Three weeks ago the sauna turned itself off while heating, when I turned it back on smoke began billowing out of one of the heating panels and the sauna and entire house smelled like melted plastic. I was afraid the sauna was going to catch on fire. The $3,500 unit is now fried. (I read this same exact scenario in the ComplaintsBoard.com from another Sunlighten Customer). I have called and emailed the Representative I purchased the sauna from multiple times and have received no response. I have called the customer support phone number numerous times, only to wait on hold for up to 30-45 minutes then be transferred to a generic voice mail. Several times I have waited online saying I was the next person in the cue only to be hung up on. I have left my personal information at least 4 times and no one from the company has returned my messages. I have emailed support and have received no response. I'm beginning to think that the company is a sham.

We received our replacement sauna just 7 months ago, after a year of back and forth, wrong parts and dealing with customer service that was a nightmare. The New one hasn't correctly heated up or worked the entire time, we called and asked for a new motherboard and it took them 5 months after a repeated follow up to ship it. The main original mother board essentially fried/ burnt inside it's metal covering and our home smells like melted plastic, as does the whole sauna. This is a Serious fire risk, when if they had just followed through with what they promised 5 months ago we wouldn't have yet another unfunctional sauna. Now we have messaged for days with no response and have a burnt-out/ Unusable Sauna for the 2nd time, the new motherboard came after we called yet again and it won't work because essentially the electrical burn out effected all the wiring with in the sauna walls. We would appreciate resolving this and finally receiving a product that works. We have wasted so much time and energy with the back and forth and if we didnt need this sauna for our children and my wifes health, I would seriously be done and ask for a FULL REFUND and after the Burning would definetly pursue legal actions with the electrical fire in the motherboard.

Sunlighten Sunlighten (formerly ***) refuses to stand by their word and product

Sunlighten (formerly ***) refuses to stand by their word and product. I was initially pleased at what I believed to be truth as slaes told this would change my life, cure and detoxify my body with infrared technology. I have the right to satisfaction and a sauna should heat up. I have not been heard by Sunlighten as I am scammed out of $3299 and they refuse redress. I was told (like so many) the sauna is better than others and other brands are unsafe. NOT Sunlighten guaranteed that this infrared was a medical sauna. Sunlighten failed to deliver the invoice or chromotherapy. *** sold me this unit. He promised things and told me patients with cancer buy this and it helps with chemotherapy. I am a cancer survivor so a vulnerable consumer and I put my faith in Sunlighten to deliver the goods they promised. The biggest problem is it does not heat as described in sales and in owners manual. I have contacted this company so many times and have many emails to show that go unanswered. I wanted get answers as why this never heats up to the manual specifications and why it takes over 2 hours to just reach between 130 . It never reaches over 140"s even at 2.5 hours. The manual states approximately 1 degree per minute and this advertises preheat of about 1hour to reach full temperature of 158. It absolutely NEVER has done this and room temp is usually between 70 and 75 so my unit is NOT OPERATING as described verbally and in writing. Sunlighten admits and does so in writing that there is a problem with my unit which is 15 amps. Nelson finally got back to write "The issue with 15 amps is that it DID NOT HEAT UP quick enough." {SIC} The company recalled it specifically for the reason I asked them to fix. They NEVER notified me this fixed but they refuse. They told me no refunds and inform me its a closeout. This was on sale but I paid $3299 and got zero help. Consumers have right to safe products and honest facts.
