I will soon be starting consumer based websites on this company and their antics. Owned by Jeremy Boyle, use bullying tactics and harassment to intimidate people. I have also noticed a lot of other online complaints about them directly and the companies they work with which I will help bridge together. Any feedback would be appreciated...

Here is some information about Summit Law LLP London which they have published on their website:
Jeremy Boyle

Graduating with an honours degree in Law from Staffordshire University in 1989, Jeremy qualified as a Solicitor in 1993 and went on to pass his Bar exams in 1999.

Jeremy is a specialist Insolvency and Commercial Law litigator, having built up extensive experience over the past two decades. He is a member of R3 (the Association of Business Recovery Professionals); the Insolvency Practitioners Association; the Insolvency Lawyers Association and the British Spanish Law Association.

Jeremy Boyle founded Summit Law LLP in April 2008 in order to meet the ever increasing demand from clients to receive specialist insolvency and litigation advice and to assist them to survive and adapt in this uncertain economic climate.

Faced with growing demand from clients, Jeremy set about creating a team with the skill, knowledge, experience and ethos to assist him. Jeremy wanted to improve and expand the service Summit Law LLP could offer whilst maintaining the integrity and personality that a smaller firm takes pride in.

For these reasons he brought together the exclusive Summit Team, whose abilities complement their clients' needs perfectly.

I have had further correspondence asking me not to post anything online from the the named company, however as I will only be publishing the truth I don't see why I should not inform people of what is going on with Summit Law & Grant Thornton.

I use to run a sports company in 2008, but ceased trading after the financial bubble burst. Most of the money came from sponsorship for new kits, almost overnight our takings stopped and the company went into liquidation. Unfortunately suppliers and customers were left without goods and money. Customers were able to claim the money back generally from their banks so it was mainly the trade suppliers who lost out.

The case was managed by a liquidator who closed the file before Grant Thornton(Kevin Hellard) picked up the file. Since then myself and my father(director) have been chased to repay the wages we took for the best part of 18 months! Now Summit Law London(Jeremy Boyle) have been writing to us to pay money we simply don't have!

We have a long list of complaints against the two names companies(Summit Law & Grant Thornton) which I will post shortly as they have refused to accept money we previously invested etc along with many other factors. I'm sure lots of people are being chased on this technicality in the law. If we had the money we'd obviously pay the poor suppliers that lost out, but the thought of being chased so that solicitors and liquidators can extract money for managing old books is sickening.

More details to follow, any other posts, experiences or comments on these companies are welcome. Please dont post your name as the chances are they'll tell you to stop too, I have nothing for them to take so it doesn't matter to me(plus the small fact that i'm doing nothing wrong but what does that matter these days)!

This isn't the first time I have come across these reviews, linked to 'Grant Thornton'. Go to UK business forums, and you will see lots of further information about these type of 'firms' and their tactics.
