I worked with Donna and Jason with Strafford. The whole experience from start to finish was professional and stress free. Both, Donna and Jason, are very knowledgeable about the insurance process and were able to get the siding gutters and downspouts approved. They were patient with me and answered all the questions I had about this process. The siding crew also did an incredible job! I highly recommend Strafford Construction. Thank you Donna and Jason.

There isn't enough stars to give to Strafford construction, they are simply the best. They got me approved for a new roof and siding , their work was implacable , the crew was very respectful of my property and left everything clean after finishing the job. Anna & Donna were quick to answer any questions I had and walked me through the whole process. They even brought samples to show me before I even made my decision to use them. Great customer service.

So thankful to Jeremy who was constantly in touch with us throughout the process of replacing our roof & gutters making it a worry-free experience. It took a little longer to get the gutters done as the adjuster with Farmers was unfamiliar with our Omni gutter system. Jeremy worked with them throughout the approval period so we could get it finalized. Very satisfied with the quality of work & service by Strafford! Highly recommend to anyone who needs their services.

Just had new siding and gutters installed. My house looks brand new. We worked with Jason, Donna and Anna. They were very professional and very responsive. At first our insurance company denied the claim. Jason lobbied for us and got our claim approved. The worked who installed the siding were here before 7 and had the job done by 5 PM. They cleaned up everything and hauled it all away. Very happy with the job that Strafford did for us. We will happily recommend them. Evelyn and Tom H.

We were extremely happy with the job Strafford did on our siding. Unlike other siding companies that have knocked on our door and said we had hail damage, Strafford worked directly with our insurance company to make sure all of the damage was covered. Then they finished the job in a day and addressed some minor related issues at the same time at no additional cost. They really took the extra steps to ensure we were happy and our house looks great! We are very happy we went with Strafford and highly recommend them.

I'd like to start by thanking Jeremy. Thank you Jeremy. He stayed with us through this process. It wasn't easy having Allstate Insurance challenge us on every issue. Jeremy's knowledgeable about the insurance process was excellent and were able to get everthing approved. Saving us big money. The roofing and siding crews were professional and detailed not missing a thing. Bonnie the painter who helped fix a few things was great! Three years ago we had our home resided. Jason and his crew were the best. They were all very courteous and cleaned up every last piece of construction material Recently, our grill was left a little to close to our house and , yes, it melted a bit of the siding. We contacted Jason and he put us in contact with his supplier to get a few replacement pieces of siding. Now our home looks just as perfect as it was before! How many contractors can you say this about? We highly recommend Jason and his guys! No hesitation here. They will take care of you.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Jason! From the beginning Jason was so helpful working closely with us to explain the process, review options and then followed through to make sure we got exactly what we were wanted. We had some very specific requests and Jason was very responsive to our needs, always available and helpful in smoothly coordinating details with the insurance company. My neighbor mentioned Strafford in our neighborhood social media group about her positive experience. I decided to give Matt a call and I'm glad I did. Matt was patient, courteous, professional, knowledgable, and most importantly, always responsive. Same for all of their different crews. If you have had home repairs, you will understand how important, and many time uncommon, to find these attributes in contractors. Matt and Strafford is all of these. From start to finish, our roofing, gutter, and facia work was exception. The work was not without glitches but exception nevertheless because these glitches were promptly addressed. Again, a contractor that is responsive and addressed all of my concerns - exceptional! Give Matt a call. You will be in good hands.

When Anna from Strafford did the initial eval I never thought about the nature of the job. Donna was there with us with her recommendations and expertise, answering all questions from selecting the color to the type of material etc. Long story short- I had roof , siding, gutters and garage door replaced by Strafford. It was a major project and once the work started , it was a continuous operation from the roof to the siding to the gutters to garage door. And obviously in a work of this proportion juggling between different teams, team scheduling etc. Is bound to happen. I was so glad that Donna was there as the go to person and it would be done. And I mean even seemingly small details even like a scratch here or there. Would surely recommend Donna , Anna and Strafford without any hesitation.

Strafford Construction has a contracted Public Adjuster Strafford Adjusting that submitted a roof and siding storm damage claim on my behalf. The insurance check was issued covering approximately half the damage, and they are demanding that I pay out of pocket for the majority of the work. The costs they quoted are not competitive, and the same work was quoted at half the cost, making the insurance claim a long term hit on home owners insurance. Strafford is expecting reimbursment of the entire amount of the claim to exit the contract. Per agreement the Public Adjuster contract entitled them to 33% of the insurance check, and I will be will to pay it at this point and move on with the work. However, they deferred the entire matter to their attorney which is demanding the entire amount of the insurance claim, and they are performing no work. They have no issue with financially harming homeowners. Beware of this company.

We are highly satisfied with the work Strafford completed for us while putting new siding on our 1986 robins egg blue and beige horrid mess. From the first contact with Donna to Jason acting as our "middleman" to Sandra overseeing our project, they were open and honest, answered all our questions, and made themselves available to us at every step during our home's re-siding. Jason in particular was immensely helpful as he was our point of contact after the initial consultations with Donna. The house crew themselves were FANTASTIC! Watching the crew work was like watching a ballet. They were fast, thorough, safety-conscious, and cleaned up after all the work was done. Our house is roughly 1480 square feet/two stories and they had the old siding off and new siding up in one day. What they did not complete on that first day - the "fit, finish, & polish" work - they came back to do a day or so later (due to rainy weather). The work was also completed during the middle of the pandemic, so it's important to me to note that everyone was properly face-masked and adhered to 6+ foot distance apart whenever we had to go over items for the house. If things could be done over phone/text/email, they were. Overall, they were great in terms of adhering to proper pandemic safety precautions. There were a few spots once the project was completed that needed to be repaired or that weren't right and there was absolutely zero issues getting a few of crew out to fix it. While the ENTIRE process - from first contact with Donna to Project Complete - took quite a while due the pandemic restrictions, we are super happy with the results. Our home looks amazing now and we're so so happy we decided to give Strafford a chance.

They didn't tell me about another company working on my house, which was *** construction. They even forged my mom's signature on the permit and sent it to the city of Des Plaines. They didn't follow the proper law in Illinois for roofing and took shortcuts on the job. They lied about what insurance would cover, even though it was written in the contract. They also didn't add the extra products to the roof. They went to my neighbor's property and left their gate open, which almost let their dogs escape. They left their trash on my neighbor's property too. The contractors didn't have the right tools for the job, so I had to lend them mine. They also used my electricity instead of their own power generator. They were rude, lied, and didn't provide service when I asked for it. They haven't even answered my emails to cancel the contract for more than 24 hours now. I just want them out of our lives, and the company should be checked.

So, my husband signed a paper thinking it was just to contact State Farm, but it was actually a sneaky contract from Strafford Construction, Inc. We needed some work done on our siding and roof after a storm, and this guy pretended to be a contractor, not an IL adjuster. It's been a whole year now, and we just found out that he's attached to our State Farm claim and wants 35% of the money we get. He even told State Farm to only talk to him! We never even wanted him to do any work, and State Farm says there's nothing they can do. They told us to send a letter saying we don't need him anymore, but he didn't sign it. We've been with State Farm for over 30 years and hardly ever file claims, so it's really frustrating that they want us to pay this guy when we've been paying them for so long. He's definitely done this before and is still doing it. He won't answer our calls or emails because he's making money for doing nothing.

Strafford Construction, Inc. is a bad company. They should be fined and their insurance license should be taken away. They don't follow the contract they signed with you. They should give you two competitive bids for a contractor, but they didn't give us any. They only give you a WO with payment terms. They don't even tell you what kind of material they will be delivering. I asked them twice for insurance, licensing, and warranties, but they didn't give me anything. They only care about the check from your insurance. They don't care about you or your repairs. You have the right not to use their contractor, but they add themselves to the check so you can't cash it out and pay them. We sent the check back to our insurance and asked Strafford to cancel the claim, but they won't respond. Don't use them! They shouldn't be licensed in ***!
