I currently live in Boulder Creek and a portion of the money I paid to transfer apartments is unaccounted for. I asked for a hand receipt twice in person and twice by email. I don’t feel like I’m asking for anything crazy. I just want a hand receipt because the money isn’t reflected on my account. When I went in there to make a final request in person, I stayed polite, but one of the maintenance men and one of the workers were laughing at it behind me. The agent said she emailed me but I still haven’t received anything in email or spam and I feel like it would just make sense to print the email and give it to me then if we’re having delivery issues.
It feels like they’re trying to pull a fast one just because I’ve spoken with them previously about having a cognitive disorder in addition to ADHD. Also note I was originally told I wouldn’t have to pay a deposit and that it would transfer. I didn’t give any pushback when I called and found out 2 days before that now I would have to pay an additional $200. I did what I had to do to make the money and now I feel like I’m begging to get a receipt. It just takes a few secs to write “On 08/12/26, this person paid _____ to _____ for the purpose of _____. Received by ______.”
Claimed loss: $78
Desired outcome: Either a written receipt or having the $78 applied to my account on Loft
