My 88 and 87 year old Aunt and Uncle had plugged drain that we could not free up. Called Southwest plumbing and plumber showed up at 6:30pm and said he could not do anything until they put a camera down the line which they would do the next morning which was Saturday. Aunt and Uncle were supposed to call me to let me know what was happening before any work was to start. After I did not hear from them I called them at 12:00 pm the next morning and they said the plumber told them that they needed several pipes under the house needed to be replaced and it needed to be done right away. Aunt and uncle panicked and signed the contract and paid half of the $16000, 00 cost. Plumbers did not work on Sunday and Monday and returned on Tuesday and Wednesday to finish the work that needed to be done right away. I called on Monday and never received a call back. I called on Tuesday and again no contact from customer service person. I called on Wednesday and demanded to talk to someone and finally talked to customer service rep. Since the contract had a three day period to stop the order I wondered if that was the reason I did not receive a quick response. On the day of completion Aunt and Uncle were told another pipe had been found and it would cost another $2000.00 dollars which they paid. One week after the completion of work laundry room drain overflowed which was the original problem. I would stay away from any company that advertises on TV, Billboards, mailings since they have to pay for the advertising some how and the homeowners and unsuspecting seniors will pay. Always get a second or third bid before hiring Southwest.

Very bad company. Overcharges are written in manual. Firm charged me several hundreds of dollars over the past five years. Never learned my lesson. The latest was an estimate of correcting the problem, ($13, 000.00 dollars) I assumed that was not a great deal so I went down to Home Depot and purchased an augur for $45.00 and the results were terrific. Clogged free drains. Also only took me 20 minutes. No I don’t work for this firm as I’m a 75 year old who is tired of rep-off artists!
