South African Relocations review: Unprofessional & disingenuous

Whilst I was in Istanbul Turkey, I was contacted by a shipping company named South African relocations based in Cape Town for shipping my household & personal items to Cape Town South Africa, even though the Local shippers in Istanbul were cheaper I decided to use South African relocations as it made sense as I am moving to Cape Town.

After paying the full invoice balance of $5250 (R100,000) they stopped responding to my emails & telephone calls.

I asked for the amount that was credited into their account & was told by South African relocations accounts department on 31/07/2023 they have NOT received any funds, I then found out from my bank in Istanbul that ALL funds $5,250 (R100,000) was credited on 28/07/2023.

I decided then not to use them as this made me very uneasy sending all my household & valuables with a company that would blatantly lie & stop communication after receiving payment in full (Emails are attached for evidence)

I've emailed South African relocations many times & asked to be reimbursed as I did not use their service & would be needing my funds to use another shipping company which have all been ignored by South African Relocations.

I am now in Cape Town trying to get my refund & it has now been over 4 months & I've still not been reimbursed.

I am now in contact with South african consumer Act to get my money back in Full.
