On 12/11/24 Solara sent my 90 day refill of Dexcom Constant Glucose Meter supplies. At that time I had United Healthcare As my insurance and I was max out of pocket so UHC was covering at 100% however now Solara/adapthealth is stating I am responsible the cost of 60 days of the 90 day supply they sent in 12/24 because they fractionally bill the insurance monthly! I told them I was not aware of their billing methods but that at the time they automatically refilled my Rx my insurance was covering at 100% and if they were billing monthly then they should only have sent a 30 day supply! Their mistake not mine! Apparently they are guilty of scamming patients with this deceptive billing practice in which they bill the patient for the full amount rather than the negotiated insurance contract price!
Country of complaint: United States
Claimed loss: $583.75 includes $15 late fee!
Desired outcome: They need to stop billing me for their deceptive behavior and send a postage paid return packaging and label to take back the 6 sensors that are fraudulently charging me for because I was max out of pocket and insurance was covering at 100%
