Soft Surroundings review: Beware!

My experience with Soft Surroundings was positive until this year. I placed an order in early February. When I didn’t receive any emails regarding shipping, I reached out and was given an expected shipping date within a few days. That day came and went and I reached out again. I was given a new date. It happened a 3rd time and I canceled since I had ordered the dresses for a trip and they wouldn’t arrive in time. Customer service NEVER reached out to me regarding these delays; I had to take the time to reach out. April 12, I decided to try again; thinking the problem was temporary and a one time issue. I was WRONG! It happened again with the same issues. Finally, after numerous “revised” expected shipping dates and again, no communication from customer service, I reached out on June 27, the most recent “expected shipping date” and was told my items were no longer available; my order was canceled. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars with Soft Surroundings but will never order from them again. There are too many other options out there; with better customer service and equally good, or even better quality items to choose from. Avoid Soft Surroundings and their sister company Coldwater Creek unless you enjoy stress, frustration and wasting time.
