Snappy put in a minisplit thingy for me last year on 12/8. But it stopped working in less than a year. At first, it looked like a problem with the manufacturer's warranty, so Snappy charged me almost half of what they charged for the original installation to fix it ($89.00 on 10/21 and $225.00 on 2/18). But the thing still doesn't work. I called another HVAC company, and they said Snappy didn't tighten one of the fittings, so the freon leaked out. But Snappy won't even answer my calls, let alone come back to fix it, even though they said their labor was under warranty (they said in an email on 12/16, "We warranty our labor if something happens reflecting from our installation.")

The technician didn't do any maintenance and refused to check the diagnostics. I called customer service and canceled in September, but they didn't refund me for the unused portion. I called the manager five times, but they never called me back. They won't honor their own contract and won't refund me the $45 they owe me. I'm very unhappy and won't recommend them to anyone.
