smart energy USA should probably change their name to were sorry solar or well never call you back solar. I don, t know how this company stays in business . I initially signed a lease agreement on 9-01-13 knowing that they were very busy and it would take 3 to 5 months to have it installed. I received a call November 18 that they would be out to install panels on the 23. When i came home that night the crew was still there working on the roof with flashlights attached to there heads so they could see. My first indication something was wrong. I then spoke to the person in charge about the location of the inverter to be placed in the garage, he informed me that it was to large to go in the area we initially agreed on. I had asked him why he said the sales person will say anything to close the sale. (Ryan Ostronic ) . A few days after they left i went to hang Christmas lights on the house and noticed a number of broken tiles and tiles that were broken and had been glued together. I then saw an area under our entry way with a number of holes drilled (about 40) and split 2 by 6s caused by lag screws . Then I called smart energy to asked them about these problems and missy told me they had taken sample tiles to replace broken ones. Son why are they gluing them i asked, no answer. My next service was for the electrician to hook up the inverter. I received no call or e-mail they were they were coming but was able to arrive about 30 minutes after there office called me while they were at my house. I asked the electrician about the inverter and he said there was no problem with the original area and that it was the same size as my neighbors. I then showed him the damage to the entry way and his comment was (oh ###). He then took pictures and a sample of the tile, and told me they would reschedule the inverter install. Have not received any calls back so i gave them a call my self and spoke with savanah who said she would call me back in 45 minutes but never did. I called again January 16th and was told they would know more on confirmation of schedule times in two hours. No call until until now January 20th . Will keep everyone updated on progress.
