Are all sky commentators Manchester United fans? I found it hard to hear any comments on Chelsea at all, very sad!

Why are all football commentators so biased they pick a team before the match starts and spend the entire game singing their praises

I would love to hear some good old fashioned commentary just telling us who's on the ball etc not a complete history on the team they are supporting during that game

And stop constantly showing replays

We just want to watch the game by the time the camera returns to play we have missed a lot of the action

Who can I complain to about these points?

Appalled at a comment by Gary Neville on Erling Haaland during Manchester City vs Manchester United game on Sunday, 2nd October when he called this exceptionally talented player a “freak”. This sort of name calling would be bad enough in the school playground, but from a public figure on a major broadcaster like Sky is absolutely disgraceful and Mr Neville should be very ashamed and apologise. Sky should take action too.

Why do football pundits (commentators) never criticise the injury time given at the end of a game by the fourth official, when he holds a board up showing how many extra minutes to be played and the referee is given the time and he plays an extra two minutes with no justification, until a goal is scored, usually by the HOME side to either draw the game or to score the Winner, then he blows for full time. Disgusting !

There is a much fairer way to do this and use a stop watch, have a timekeeper like basketball. If the goalkeeper holds the ball longer than let's say 5 secs, stop the clock and let him hold it as long as he wants. This would help the team desperate to score as they will get a bit of a breather, If the ball goes out of play anywhere stop the clock. I watched and timed half of a match one day and used a stopwatch and there was only 31 minutes play, and this was the first half where timewasting is not as high.

Also I want to see goals and do not want to see the defender " taking one for the team" making tackles to stop the striker, no more yellow cards for cynical fouls just make it red. Managers will stop telling players to haul down opponent's if their top defenders are sitting in the stand suspended. If it happens more than once make it a 3 game ban, and I mean if it happens by the team not just an individual player.

As for VAR let's use for all forms of cheating, mainly diving but anything the referee misses.

Also why is the disgusting Jamie carragher who spits at little girls allowed to draw a wage commentating on matches shown by sky has sky no morals they must think that ex footballers spitting at girls is acceptable obviously, or they wouldn't appoint him ? That was a form of assault by the disgusting man, and I for one don't want to listen to his uneducated broad slang of a voice throughout a match, his accent is like listening to an over excited schoolkids

The commentators on today's man utd v everton game are a disgrace, Jamie carragher and bill never heard of him have done nothing but shout out for everton throughout the game, their voices raising decibels every time everton get the ball but both were silent after utd s equaliser ! If commentators cannot remain neutral as is their JOB then they are not fit to commentate so sack them. The public don't want to listen throughout a game to biased favouritism and personal preference of a commentators opinions

Why do your commentators constantly mispronounce footballers names ?---its not difficult to find out the correct way to pronounce them before a match. Recent examples---Liverpool players--- SAARLAAR--is not how the Egyptians name is pronounced and Matip is not pronounced MAARTIP
Have the commentators check the players names before the match please---totally unprofessional at the moment

I am a little tired of increasing amounts of commentary on the Premier League and on last years World Cup by Sue Smith and a whole host of other female commentator's and pundits. I am not a misogynist in any way shape or form and would also apply this issue in principle to lower league male footballers ( excusing those who may have previously played at the top level, obviously) ...quite simply haven't played at Premier League level and as such are therefore talking about something hypothetically. It's simply politically correct appeasement and as such is insulting to viewers intelligence.

I too am fed up of listening to women footballers talking about top flight men's football as if they know what they are talking about. I wouldn't accept it from any amature league level male footballer or even from a male footballer who has only ever played in the championship or lower unless they have or are managing a premier league team. I will switch the tv over when they chat because it grinds me to hear people who haven't got a clue as they have not played in top flight men's football. I have no issue with women hosts as they ask the questions for the EXPERTS to answer. I know majority of my friends feel exactly the same and it wont be long before subscriptions will be getting cancelled and its like an itch we can not scratch. The people should have a choice and us guys choose ex premier league players and managers and not people who have no experience at this level to air their opinions as they have not got a clue ! Well done Paul Robinson for starting this subject as im sure this will not be the last time this is discussed.

I have been asked by my wife with zero football knowledge " what is SHE doing there" and added I wonder how she got that position. I have no problem with women commenting on women, and leave men to discuss men playing the game. Remember Gray and Keys losing their jobs over some sexist issue, is this just some way of attempting to make up for this issue. I would much rather have Gray and Keys than any of these women, this is not a sexist view. Otherwise pay these women football experts the same as they would pay Carragher, Neville, Souness, Keane etc etc

I am watching the build up to the city v united game and there is a young model, oh sorry senior reporter is sky's words for her on the screen.

Martin Tyler. He does not commentate on the action actually happening during the game. Is he not supposed to the “match commentater”. All he does along with his other side kicks is talk and talk about facts and figures and inane chit chat some of which reduces him to giggling. Not very funny for the rest of us trying to watch the game. Also the volume of his voice drowns out the stadium noise. Shame. He ruins every game I watch. Yesterday in the end we resorted to watching the Man Utd v Bournemouth game with the volume turned to zero. I have cancelled my Sky Sports subscription. Shame.

Sky still using the contemptible Jamie Carragher but it typifies the lack of integrity at Sky Sport. If spitting is acceptable what about vomiting as the next public display of contempt for football fans?

I am totally disgusted with Jamie Carragher for spitting at a 14 year old girl sitting in the passenger side of her father car.All he had to do was keep his window closed and turn his radio up. SPITTING at someone is the lowest of the low.He apologised and said it was out of character in 2002 when he threw the coin back into the crowd at Arsenal was also out of character. Spitting is vile and disgusting if he keeps his job I foe one will cancel my sky subscriptions hope more people follow suite.

I agree with both comments. McEnroe and Petchey are dreadful commentators. They regularly talk through rallies and are incapable of making brief succinct comments, keeping up a constant stream of talk, introducing irrelevant things about people in the crowd or past events often while rallies are in progress, instead of concentrating on the match and illuminating the tactics in between points. I have regularly had to turn the sound off during matches because they have been so infuriating. Simon Reed and Frew McMillan are far, far better, probably because they do not have such huge egos and are able to allow the audience to enjoy the rallies, only making illuminating comments when necessary and NEVER during rallies. I get the impression that the Sky Sports producers have no control over McEnroe's and Petchey's behaviour in spoiling matches for many people.

Petchey and Cowan. There 2 spoil Sky's brilliant coverage
of tennis by insisting on talking complete and utter irrelevant garbage not related to the match in progress. Example.
Nadal recent semi final produced one of the best points ever played on TV Petchey was STILL ranting about some event from bygone days. Sack him. Peter Fleming at least has the intelligence to let the players play and us to watch.

Gary Neville is an absolute disgrace on the comment he made not once.but twice about a fan of arsenal holding up a banner saying enough is enough it, s time to go he, s entitled to his opinion as he pays his money to watch his team and Neville called him an idiot .this is not acceptable he should be sacked as a commentator for that remark as there were children watching the game against Chelsea who can I speak to to complain further about this disgraceful man

i watched the Clyde v The Rangers game on Sky 4 on Sunday 28th October and the presenter of the programme, I think his name is David Tanner stated that The Rangers victory was the first away win since 1875, or a date around that time, in the Scottish third division. Can you get him to apologise to the viewers as ols Rangers went into liquidation this year and are now a brand new company, started in 2012. So I want him made aware of this fact and to make sure the mistake is not made in the future because it is an affront to all the companies that the old Rangers owed monies to

Why are so few South African Super Rugby matches shown. Even in the semi finals the game played in Australia was shown yet the Stormers game at Newlands was not. This has been the pattern the whole season and on the occasions when you have shown a game, invariably the second half has been on the red button preventing recording of the match. There is a large contingent of Ex Bokke in this country, more so than Aussies and New Zelanders together. So Why, Why, Why ?

Sky sports presenters ED Chaimberlin and other presenters please stop giving the results of other matches that are being shown on another channel at the same time, don't you realise that as sports fans we are very likely to be sky plusing the other match and all you do is ruin it for thousands of people that have recorded it and to cap it all this week after the liverpool / swansea game he felt the need to even tell us that van gerwin had just won his world darts match which I and no doubt thousands of other sports fanatics was recording,
PLEASE PLEASE will you just stick to the game that you are covering, if we want to know other scores we will switch to sky sports news, we only want your input about the match you are covering, which by the way you do very well
Regards Neil Redditch

i would like to complain about wayne mardle on his comments about michael van gerwen saying michael van gerning mardle, is no oil painting. van gerwen is the next best thing to phil taylor and as a young man at the top of his game he should not have to put up with these insults.

Why do we have commentators during a live football match. I accept the pre match talk, the half time chat, and the after match
discussion. But to have a commentator, like Garry Neville, talking none stop for the whole of the 90 mins is aweful.
I get so fed up with their continual chat I have to mute the sound.
If you go to see a live match and sit in the stand, the last thing you want is some one sitting next to telling you whats going on.

I say get rid of the commentating during the actual match, let us hear the crowd, and hear their comments.

Martin Tyler is clearly a Man Utd fan his commentary is so badly biased, recently his commentary on the derby match with Man City and his repeated negativity when commentating in City is an embarrassment to Sky. Even Gary Neville is not agreeing with him. Martin Tyler is an embarrassment to impartial commentary

Gary Neville was an absolute disgrace when commentating on the Chelsea v Tottenham match, if Chelsea had won 3-0 he would have criticised them. I know the first half was pretty dull but it takes 2 teams to make a dull match. I was trying to enjoy the match but his commentary was so irritatating I was swearing more than usual. How Gary Neville can be given these top matches, fait enough he had a solid career career but no experience in management / tactics. We need to raise a petition to get him off our screens and replace with an unbiased pundit who knows what he is talking about.

I totally agree! As for Alan Smith giving Rooney the man of the match, laugh I nearly fell over!
The other commentator on the game, is he paid by united (what a comeback!) His comments are disgraceful and never give the other team any credit (unless the other team happens to be United of course)
And the after match interview was a disgrace! Ferguson gets 5 mins to talk his talk and Geoff shreeves really rudely and abruptly cuts AVB off mid-sentence after 30 seconds, not much bias there then!Sky commentators and pundits are so up United's backsides its untrue!
