I placed an order on 8/17/2023 and paid additionol for expedited shipping. I am signed up for alerts through FedEx and got a text saying it had been delivered. I called my son who is 19 at home and asked him to get it. He told me there was no package. I went to the tracking and could immediately see the house in the proof of delivery photo was not mine. I called FedEx straight away. They opened a case and said they needed 24 hrs to resolve it. It took them 2 days to contact me and they said they confirmed the package was misdelivered and the driver was unable to retrieve it. They told me to reach out to Shein for a refund. I did. Shein did an internal investigation which appears to have been solely clicking the tracking link which is marked as delivered and denied me a refund. I contacted FedEx again who told me they would reach out to purple in China and let them know what happened and to notify Shein they need to refund me. I waited a day and contacted Shein again. Again they told me logistics show the package delivered and they are unable to refund me. FedEx China called me the next day and told me they got the information from FedEx US and googled my address and confirmed the house in the proof of delivery photo was not mine. They told me to notify Shein I told them Shein refused to do anything about it. They said the shipper needed to file the claim as they paid for the shipment. I attempted to file one online anyhow only to be denied as I am not the shipper. The note I got said I needed permission on Shein letterhead to file a claim. I contacted Shein again who for the 14th time told me to check around my house check with neighbors or file a claim. I explained it has been weeks and that FedEx already admitted fault and all they needed to do was file a claim or give me permission to do so. Again all they did was mark it as solved. FedEx is unable to provide me with any proof as I am not the shipper but if you call the number in the message below I got from Shein and enter the tracking number it says the case is closed and if you are the shipper file a claim for the lost package. Shein refuses to do so and refuses to refund me.

Desired outcome: I just want my money back. It isn't fair I am out the money due to a FedEx error and Shein is being ridiculous about it. I already went to target and Walmart and bought the items I needed for vacation.
