I'm so disappointed in this company right now. I tried to order gourmet chocolate dipped strawberries as well as a box of chocolates. I have used Shari's Berries in the past to give out for corporate gifts at the end of the year, and my company has also encouraged friends to send Shari's Berries as corporate gifts. But after adding $87 worth of merchandise to my cart, I am baffled at the $57 in shipping, when I want to ship my items to the same delivery address on a non-holiday weekday. Shame on Shari's Berries for such a horrible shipping policy as well as what seems like an intentionally cumbersome ordering process where the shipping charges aren't apparent until multiple time-consuming steps have been completed.
If the two items are going to one address, it's the same truck. In the same box. With the same cold packs. I'm not complaining about the charges. It's the duplicate charges. It's the $10 extra for a Monday delivery. And the $5 for rush shipping when I clearly had standard shipping selected. No other website conceals these charges until so late in the checkout process.
Wine Is Good sounds like an undercover Shari's Berries CEO/stock holder or they are being paid to write these comments. You sound crazy and based off all the other reviews of this company there is no hiding behind shipping technicalities. I've been swayed to never buy from this company OR ProFlowers.
It doesn't change how disgusting they are or their reviews. Consistently negative reviews speak louder than any glamourous marketing materials.

I agree that the shipping costs for Shari's Berries are crazy. I don't know as of yet how the product is, but I ended up paying almost $59 for 6 strawberries. I sure hope they are worth it. CRAZY!

Merchandise price has zero to do with how much packing and shipping is. I can sell a bowling ball for a dollar. I can't ship it for that. You are talking about food that must be shipped specifically to maintain freshness and edibility. It does not get tossed in a box and dropped off at the post office. Most of that stuff gets shipped packed in dry ice and trucked to the deliverer. That costs. Use the coupon code to save money and start thinking about WHAT you are buying when comparing shipping charges.
