My friend and I purchased two iphones from Sharaf DG. They convinced us to take their flexi pay services for 24 months payment. We did exactly after they explained that they will do all the work on their end to convert the purchase into installment. We used my friend's RAKBANK credit card. Now, 2 years after, when I thought I was already done with the payments, my friend came to me saying that we accumulated more than 6, 000 aed of finance charges because Sharaf DG charged it as one-time purchase. After being convinced to use their facility, it came back to me as a nightmare. I even have the receipt from them that states the 24 months installment plan with RAKBANK. Worst experience! I will never want to do business with Sharaf DG ever again!

After reading all these comments about the flexipay from sharaf DG, i am quite worried as i am the recent victim about this issue. I have purchased a laptop with flexi payment on 8th of APR 2020. But my credit card statement generated on 25th APR does not show the conversion scheme and i have contacted the sharaf DG support i received the same comment that i saw in all above reviews. I have made complaint with sharaf DG support center and they said for me to wait and do not worry and their EPP department will resolve everything . But seeing the comment from others i really worried about this.
When i contacted my bank they told me that they did not receive any request for EPP and and if i need to convert to EPP i need to pay again the conversion charges. However the sharaf DG support staff said they can not refund the administration charges at any cost. I am sure it may not be with the knowledge of senior management from sharfaf DG but i could not escalate this issue to the higher level. I do not know why a company like sharaf DG is putting customers in such big pain only because they opted sharaf DG as their choice to purchase. I have made this request to sharaf DG under the ticket number 2919083 but the response is to wait but for how long ..no answer.
